Ndumo Safaris offers traditional African hunting safaris Hemingway would be proud of. We also offer hunts outside of the Caprivi on demand.

We are based in the Caprivi of Namibia, from where we operate 4 concessions exclusively. Ndumo Safaris is a Namibian based company, owned and operated by Karl Stumpfe, a well known professional hunter and outfitter. Ndumo specializes in big game hunting, and has a forte for the Caprivi. Here in the Caprivi we own and operate four concessions, namely Bwabwata East, Sobbe, Balyerwa and Sikunga conse

rvancies. If our clients' demands are higher than our yearly allocated quotas, we make sure to buy quota from other outfitters in the Caprivi and North West Namibia. Ndumo therefore focusses on the needs of our clients. During 2012 and 2013 a group of South Africans visited us to hunt buffalo and elephant. This led to negotiations for a South African franchise of Ndumo Safaris, which led to Ndumo Hunting Safaris being established in the Free State province of South Africa. We offer hunts for buffalo and approximately 23 huntable species of plains game including sable, roan, lechwe, kudu, eland, mountain reedbuck and many more. Our clients' needs are always our priority, and we strive to customize hunts according to their wishes, as far as possible.

Our Story

Ndumo Safaris is a Namibian company, based in the Zambezi region (formerly known as the Caprivi Strip) of Namibia, from where we operate one of very few companies that actually specialize in hunting dangerous game. Namibia is considered one of the most stable African countries, and is an absolute hunters paradise. Namibia has a wide variety of habitats, making it one of the most diverse countries in Africa. The region where we are based is mostly a dangerous game region, within easy travel by commercial airlines from Windhoek (the capital of Namibia) or Johannesburg (South Africa.)

Ndumo Safaris is fully owned and operated by highly experienced professional hunter, Karl Stumpfe. He is assisted by another highly experienced dangerous game PH, Fred Bezuidenhout, and some younger upcoming professional hunters complement our team of professional hunters and staff to attend to all your hunting needs. As we hunt mostly from our own very well appointed and comfortable camps, situated on one of the three concessions we currently own in the region, you can always be assured of an extremely high standard.

Our areas are Bwabwata East concession (Park area) as well as Sobbe- and Sikunga communal conservancies. To cater for additional quota outside of what we can offer in these 3 areas, or for the specific needs of a client, we also offer hunts in other Caprivi- and Kavango conservancies, as well as in Damaraland and Kaokoland conservancies in the North -Western region of Namibia, and on private ranch land in both Namibia and South Africa.

This puts us in the unique position to offer the discerning hunter totally free-range areas for dangerous game hunting (which includes elephant trophies that are exportable to the USA) in Namibia.
