When AR moves, the Municipality jumps, even if they pretend not to hear us.

We have taken note that after our meeting request to address the irregularities in the ongoing land tenure program, the Office of the CEO suddenly decided to invite a community meeting with the affected residents. Their invitation clearly comes as a reaction to our initial call for accountability, yet they still haven’t responded to us directly.

This is not the first time our actions have pushed them to act. When we exposed the illegal dumpsites in the location, the rubbish was cleared almost immediately. We will continue to smoke out negligence wherever it hides.

We want the current councillors to deal with petty issues like dumpsites now, because when we take over, we will be dealing with real issues such as road infrastructure in all extensions, and revenue generating projects that lift Okahandja without suffocating residents under high rates and taxes.

We continue to provide leadership without occupying an office. That’s the difference between AR and the current crop of councillors.
