CONTROLLED FIRE IN OKAHAO TOWN

Dear residents,

Kindly be informed that Okahao Town Council Fire Department will conduct a controlled fire exercise at the Sewer Pond site today after 17h00. Smoke and flames may be visible, but there is no cause for alarm, as the exercise will be safely managed by the firefighters.

CONTROLLED FIRE IN OKAHAO TOWN

Dear residents,

Please be informed that the Emergency Fire Officials from the Okahao Town Council Fire Department will be conducting a Controlled Fire today on 27 July 2026 , after17H00 within Ehao Cultural Expo.

You may notice smoke or flames in and around town during this exercise. There is no reason for panicking, all shall be safely managed by our dedicated Firefighters.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we carry out this important safety exercise.

PROGRESS INSPECTION OF THE FIVE-A-SIDE FIELD AT THE EHAO CULTURAL FACILITY

Mr. Frank Frederick visited the Ehao Cultural Facility to inspect the progress of the Five-A-Side football field. During the visit, he emphasized that construction work should resume in August to ensure the project is completed by the end of 2026, allowing children to start using the facility.

📢WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION IN OKAHAO TOWN

Okahao Town Council wish to inform all residents that the water supply interruption was caused by a burst pipe at the main water reservoir in Ogongo.

The repair and maintenance work has now been completed, and water supply will be restored shortly. Residents are kindly requested to be patient as the system gradually returns to normal.
