Dear our Namibia leaders,

Trust the youths is a risk you have to take and you must take for your country to develop. Trusting them to handle responsibilities doesn't mean leaving them unsupervised. But, don't micromanage them in a bid of supervising them.

The truth is you can't run far alone, especially when you want to bring the nation together and to recover the economy. You need the best hands in your team. You need also to give these best hands the room to grow.

Allow them to contribute to the development, let them brainstorm, and come up with those brilliant ideas. Don't harden their growth because you are scared of them.

Make yourself accessible to them, let them have a sense of acceptance and oneness.

Whenever a team does well, praise the entire team and not just a member of the team. You don't want to bring unhealthy competition in your country.

Promote, reinforce and applaud the efforts when necessary. Your youth want to know that their efforts didn't go unnoticed.

Lastly, remember that leaders lead for others to follow. Show the positive behavior you want to see your country to display. They look up to you and walk in your footsteps.

Congratulations to Christine Mboma and thank you for bringing the Namibia nation together again and I believe this is just the beginning more still have to come.
