The Windhoek life Change centre is a Welfare Organisation that is registered with the Ministry of Health and Social welfare currently known as the Ministry of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare. The Centre is also registered with the High Court of Namibia. Here the organisation provides food and teach skills for all people from all walks of life. With our aim being to change lives, reduce pove
rty and unemployment. Since the centre came into operations in 2001, we have been catering for over 10 400 people on weekly bases. The centre provides the following services to all our beneficiaries for free of charge.
• Feeding Scheme – we provide a cooked meal for 4000 scholars from 9 different schools in Windhoek alone.
• We supplier food to 54 Kindergartens and orphanage homes on a monthly bases.
• Additionally we feed 600 young people and pensioners on weekly bases.
• The Windhoek Life Change Centre also offers the following classes to the young people and the Pensioners
o Wood Work – this is mostly for the youth. Participants are taught how to design work and make furniture’s from wood. o Literacy Classes – this is in partnership with the Ministry of Education both young, adults and pensioners learn to write and read. o Computer classes- these classes are mainly for the youth they learn basic computer skills. o Manicure and pedicure - these are young adults that learn to do nails.
