CP EBONYI CHARGES OFFICERS ON PROFESSIONALISM

Following directives from the Inspector-General of Police, the Commissioner of Police, Ebonyi State Command, CP Hope Urunwa Okafor, psc, mnips held a strategic briefing with Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and Heads of Departments.

MAJOR HIGHLIGHTS:
📍 Strict ban on unauthorised searching of citizens' phones without a warrant.
📍 Strict stance against extortion, harassment, and incivility to the public.
📍 Supervisors will now be held vicariously liable for the misconduct of their subordinates.
📍 Sustained intelligence-led raids on criminal hideouts in preparation for the upcoming electioneering season.

The Commissioner of Police reaffirmed the Command's commitment to protecting human rights and maintaining law and order in Ebonyi State.
