YOU WERE DEAD, BUT GOD MADE YOU ALIVE

Scripture: Texts
Ephesians 2:1-5
[1] And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; [2] wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: [3] among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. [4] But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, [5] even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Colossians 2:13

The Bible describes our former condition as spiritual death. We were separated from the life of God because of sin.
But God did not leave man in that condition. Through Christ, death, burial and resurrection the believers are made alive to God.

Salvation is therefore more than moral improvement. God has brought believers from death into His life.
Sin, Satan, sickness and death has lost its power and authority over your life.

Confession⚡
I have been made alive with Christ. My old spiritual condition is not my present identity.

Prayer🙏
Father, open my understanding to know the life I have received in Christ. Amen.

THE LIGHT OF LIFE 🔥

THE DISCIPLES DID NOT UNDERSTAND

Mark 9:9-10 KJV
[9] And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead. [10] And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.

Despite witnessing glory, the disciples could not fully grasp the message because the Holy Spirit had not yet been given.

“The Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.”
John 7:39

Spiritual realities can only be understood by the Spirit:

“The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God.”
1 Corinthians 2:14

The high mountain apart speaks of life in the Spirit, where Christ reveals:
the end of the old covenant,
the glory of the new creation,
and the centrality of hearing Him alone.

Today, as believers filled with the Holy Spirit, we do not merely see the glory—we live in it.

“But we all, with open face beholding… are changed into the same image from glory to glory.”
2 Corinthians 3:18

SALVATION IS A PERSON

Key Scriptures:

Ephesians 2:8; Psalm 27:1; 1 John 5:11–12; Romans 6:23; 8:1-2, John 3:16

Message 💥
The only freedom from sin and death is death.
Jesus Christ died as you, was buried to do away with the old life, and rose again as the new creation. He is your salvation, deliverance, and total freedom from sin, Satan, death, and every form of satanic bo***ge.

We were spiritually dead in sin and separated from God, but God demonstrated His love by giving us His own life.
Salvation, therefore, is not a reward for human effort; it is the expression of God's grace.

Confession ⚡
I have received Jesus Christ as my light and salvation. I am saved by grace and established in Christ. I have eternal life because Christ is my life.

Prayer 🙏
Father, thank You for giving me eternal life through Jesus Christ. Help me to continually understand and live from all that You have accomplished for me in Christ. Amen.

LIGHT OF LIFE 🔥

“HEAR YE HIM” — THE FINAL AUTHORITY

“This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”
— Matthew 17:5

Matthew 3:17 KJV
[17] and lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

God the Father shifted attention away from the Law and the Prophets to His Son alone. From this point onward, revelation is centered in Christ, not in shadows, types or symbols.

“God… hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son.” — Hebrews 1:1–2
