WHEN FARMERS GET SUPPORT, THE WHOLE STATE FEELS IT.

Ebonyi's economy cannot grow sustainably without a productive agricultural sector.
That is why the Nwifuru administration's agricultural interventions matter; from fertilizer distribution and farm inputs to mechanised farming and targeted support for farmers.
Between 2023 and 2025, 56,000 bags of fertilizer were distributed to farmers across the state.

That is not just fertilizer.

It is support for food production, household incomes and food security.

The real question: how much more can Ebonyi produce when more farmers gain access to inputs, machinery and markets?

WHEN GOVERNMENT BRINGS ADVANCED MEDICAL CARE CLOSER TO HOME, DISTANCE STOPS BEING A BARRIER.

For years, serious medical diagnosis could mean travelling outside Ebonyi.

That is changing.

The Ebonyi State Medical Diagnostic Centre, Nwofe, now provides advanced diagnostic capacity with MRI and CT-Scan facilities. The Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru have done this for easy access for emergency treatment and diagnosis.

This matters because early and accurate diagnosis can determine how quickly a patient receives the right treatment.

For families, it can also mean less travel, lower associated costs and faster access to critical medical information.

This is more than a building with machines.
It is healthcare infrastructure that can save time; and sometimes, save lives.

47 SCHOLARSHIPS. 47 NEW REASONS TO KEEP DREAMING.

Today, I witnessed something deeply inspiring as 47 pupils, students and undergraduates received scholarship support from the Ogba Chukwuebuka Foundation.

The Founder, Ogba Chukwuebuka reminded us that this gesture is not out of abundance, but out of necessity; to support young people who are struggling to pay their fees and may be forced to drop out of school because of financial hardship.

There is something beautiful about a beneficiary becoming a benefactor.

This initiative, offered in honour of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, is a powerful example of how one opportunity can inspire another; and how investment in education can create a lasting multiplier effect.

Today, I saw hope given a new chance.

Good morning, everyone.

Ogba Chukwuebuka is one of the beneficiaries of the Ebonyi State Postgraduate Scholarship Programme (Foreign Beneficiaries), fully sponsored by the administration of Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru

About 20 months(between January 2025 and August 2026) after travelling to the UK to pursue his Master’s degree under the programme, he has returned not only as a beneficiary but also as a benefactor, offering scholarships to 47 students; an inspiring way of paying forward the opportunity he received.

This is the true multiplier effect of purposeful investment in education. The transgenerational impact of such a scholarship policy will undoubtedly become even more evident in the years ahead.

WHEN A GOVERNMENT INVESTS IN WORKERS, IT INVESTS IN FAMILIES.

A civil servant's salary does not end at the office.

It pays school fees.
It feeds families.
It supports local businesses.
It keeps communities moving.

That is why the regular and prompt payment of workers' salaries, alongside the implementation of the ₦75,000 minimum wage, matters beyond government payroll.
Add the recruitment of 2,000 teachers and 1,700 civil servants, and the picture becomes clearer: thousands of Ebonyians are gaining more stable sources of income.

Good governance is not only about roads and buildings.

Sometimes, it is simply about ensuring that a worker receives what is due at the right time.

For many young Ebonyians, the fear after graduation is simple:

Governor Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru ’s automatic employment and scholarship initiative for First-Class graduates is changing that narrative.

It sends a powerful message: academic excellence should open doors, not lead to frustration.

Beyond the immediate jobs and further educational opportunities, Ebonyi retains some of its brightest minds instead of watching them leave in search of opportunities elsewhere.

WHEN GOVERNMENT INVESTS IN WATER, IT INVESTS IN HEALTH.

Water is not just infrastructure.

It is health, hygiene, productivity and dignity.

Under Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, major water interventions have included the completion of the Oferekpe Mega Water Scheme, civil works at the Ishiagu Mega Water Scheme, rehabilitation of the Ezilo Water Scheme and repairs to the Iboko Water Reservoir.

Why does this matter?

Because reliable water means fewer families spending precious income searching for water, better hygiene in homes and communities, and healthier conditions for schools, hospitals and businesses.

The next question should be: how do we take these investments deeper into every community and make functional water supply a daily reality?

That is where the real impact will be measured.
