Dear Sir,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Management, Staff, and Volunteers of BYG Foundation, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the passing of your beloved mother.

We were deeply saddened to receive the news of her demise. The loss of a mother is one of life's greatest sorrows, as she is a source of love, care, wisdom, and unwavering support. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT), in His infinite mercy, forgives all her shortcomings, accepts her good deeds, expands and illuminates her grave, and grants her the highest place in Aljannatul Firdaus. May He also grant you, your family, and all those mourning her the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear this painful and irreplaceable loss.

BYG FOUNDATION CELEBRATES YOUNG STAR FOUNDATION, AZARA GRADUATING STUDENTS IN NASARAWA STATE CHAPTER

The BYG Foundation was honored to be represented at the graduation ceremony of Young Star Foundation, Azara. Our Public Relations Officer, Nasarawa State Chapter, attended on behalf of the National Coordinator and the Foundation.

During the event, a goodwill message was delivered to the graduating students. They were congratulated for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievements. The students were encouraged to continue pursuing knowledge, uphold good character, and remain positive ambassadors of their communities. Education was highlighted as a powerful tool for transforming lives and building a better society.

As part of our commitment to promoting academic excellence, the BYG Foundation, Nasarawa State Chapter, gifted the 5 best-performing students among our beneficiaries. Each of the 5 students received writing materials and a new school uniform as a symbol of our support, encouragement, and belief in their bright future.

We congratulate all the graduating students of Young Star Foundation, Azara. We wish you continued success and excellence in all your future endeavors.

TEACHERS SUPERVISION REPORT – DARAZO LGA, BAUCHI STATE

I successfully supervised all four (4) schools under our program in Darazo LGA, Bauchi State.
1. Asasul Islam Primary School Darazo
2. Sunshine Academy Darazo
3. Hayatul Islam Primary School Darazo
4. Sheikh Ja'afar Mahmud Adam Nursery and Primary School Darazo

Generally, I observed that the staff are committed to their responsibilities and are doing their best to discharge their duties effectively. Their dedication and cooperation with school management are commendable.

Areas requiring improvement and support:

1. Capacity Building Training: There is a need for regular training to enhance staff skills, improve teaching methodologies, and position our staff among the best in the education sector.

2. Teaching Resources: Provision of customized lesson plan and lesson note books will help improve lesson preparation, record keeping, and standardization across schools.

3. Means of Identification: Staff should be provided with official means of identification such as ID cards, branded vests, or other approved materials to strengthen professionalism and recognition within schools.

4. Strengthening School Leadership: School heads should be given more authority and support in ensuring that staff comply with school regulations and professional standards.

5. Training for Head Teachers: Head teachers require orientation and training on monthly evaluation, assessment, and reporting procedures to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports.

6. Punctuality : I observed that most staff arrive at school a few minutes after 8:00 a.m. I cautioned the affected staff and advised school management to continue monitoring attendance and punctuality to ensure full compliance with program expectations.

Conclusion:
The schools are making progress, and with the recommended interventions and continuous supervision, staff performance and program outcomes will improve significantly.

_Supervision and Scholarship Payment Visit to Dukku Community Secondary School._

This is to report that earlier today, I, Mustapha A. Hamzah, National Coordinator of BYG Foundation, visited Dukku Community Secondary School for supervision and payment of school fees. The visit was undertaken with the support of our esteemed Dukku Coordinator, Usman Mijinyawa, and Dukku Stakeholder, Malam Adamu.

During the visit, we conducted a thorough supervision of the students, inspecting classes and assessing their progress. We were pleased to note the students' enthusiasm and dedication to their studies. The school administration expressed gratitude for the BYG Foundation's continued support, which has significantly contributed to the students' academic success. Subsequently, the payment of school fees was made accordingly, covering the outstanding fees for the current academic session.

REPORT ON PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEES AND MONITORING VISIT

Sheikh Ja'afar Mahmud Adam Primary School, Darazo
Date: 29th January, 2026

Introduction

Representatives of the Brightness for Younger Generation Foundation (BYGF) visited Sheikh Ja'afar Mahmud Adam Primary School, Darazo, to pay the school fees of beneficiaries sponsored under the Foundation’s education support programme.

Beneficiaries and Fees Paid

1. The total number of beneficiaries enrolled in the school is ten (10), ranging from Nursery 3 to Primary 5.

2. The approved school fee of ₦2,500 per pupil was paid in full for all beneficiaries.

Discussion with School Management

During the visit, a discussion was held with the Headmaster, who expressed sincere appreciation to the Foundation for its continued support. He also informed the team that the school management has increased the school fees from ₦2,500 to ₦4,000 per pupil.
The school was advised to officially communicate this development in writing to BYGF for proper consideration before any decision is taken.

Observations

1. It was observed that the pupils have received an additional set of school uniforms from their guardians.

2. However, there is a need for more reading and writing materials to further enhance their learning.

3. The performance of BYGF Volunteer Staff was also assessed, and they were found to be doing their best in teaching and maintaining proper school records.

Conclusion and Appreciation

The Foundation appreciates the commitment of its Founder and Executives for their continuous efforts in supporting and shaping young minds through education. Their dedication remains a strong pillar in advancing grassroots educational development.
