PRESS STATEMENT
Re: Sam Amadi’s Comment on 2027 Presidency

Our attention has been drawn to a report quoting Dr. Sam Amadi as saying, “If Obi can’t get it, let Tinubu continue.” While we respect Dr. Amadi’s right to his opinion, it is important to set the record straight for Nigerians.
Nigeria cannot afford another term of failure:
The last eight years under APC and the ongoing Tinubu administration have plunged Nigerians into unprecedented suffering, from record inflation to a collapsing naira, mass unemployment, corruption, and insecurity. To suggest that Nigerians should endure “stable incompetence” is not only insensitive but dangerous.
Peter Obi represents competence, character, and capacity:
Obi remains the most credible alternative for 2027, with a proven track record of prudent management, accountability, and people-centered leadership. The idea of equating his vision for a New Nigeria with the incompetence of APC governance is false and misleading.
The Obidient Movement is not about political convenience:
Our mission is not to gamble with Nigeria’s future but to rescue it. We will continue to mobilize Nigerians across ethnic, religious, and political divides to ensure that the suffering masses have a leader who can truly deliver.
Nigerians deserve good governance, not recycled excuses. We urge all commentators and stakeholders to channel their energy toward rescuing Nigeria from the stranglehold of APC, rather than normalizing failure.

PRESS STATEMENT
Re: Henry Shield’s Recent Commentary on H.E. Peter Gregory Obi

Our attention has been drawn to comments made by former lawmaker Henry Shield, in which he referenced his interactions with H.E. Peter Gregory Obi. While we appreciate the recognition of Mr. Obi’s need for continued support, it is important to clarify and put matters in the right perspective.
*On Constructive Criticism:
Mr. Peter Obi has always welcomed honest feedback from Nigerians, regardless of political affiliation. As a leader who listens, he has never shied away from corrections or counsel, whether in private or public. The Obidient Movement is built on openness and accountability, not blind loyalty.
*On the Plateau Flood Visit:
When Peter Obi visited flood-affected communities in Plateau State during the campaign, he did so out of genuine compassion and solidarity with victims, not for political showmanship. The branded attire he wore reflected his identity as a candidate, but his mission there was humanitarian first and foremost. Unlike the APC-led government that abandoned citizens to their fate, Obi consistently showed up for suffering Nigerians in their darkest moments.
*On Support for a New Nigeria:
While Mr. Shield may not identify as “Obidient,” his acknowledgement that Obi deserves support speaks volumes. This movement is not about labels, it is about restoring dignity, accountability, and hope to our nation. Every Nigerian who believes in good governance, whether Obidient or not, shares in this vision.

The Obidient Movement remains committed to truth, justice, and service. We reject attempts to twist narratives of compassion into political scandals. Mr. Peter Obi will continue to stand with the people, and we urge all well-meaning Nigerians , critics and supporters alike, to join in building the New Nigeria we all deserve.

PRESS STATEMENT
RE: Falsehoods Circulating on Obidient Movement and Our Principal, H.E. Peter Gregory Obi

Our attention has been drawn to a mischievous and fabricated post being circulated by faceless agents of the APC, titled “Inside Obi’s House of Scandals: Campaign Cash Fraud, Gambling, and Factional Wars.”
This publication is nothing but a desperate attempt to smear the integrity of Mr. Peter Gregory Obi and the Obidient Movement. We want to make it clear: the claims contained in the said post are false, misleading, and deliberately concocted to distract Nigerians from the failures of the current APC government.

Facts of the matter:
The so-called “Edo scandal” was never a scandal but an isolated case of fraud by an individual who masqueraded as an Obidient. This person, later confirmed to be an APC member, diverted funds voluntarily contributed by members of the Obidient family for the Peter Obi Birthday Rally of 19th July 2025.
All due measures were taken to recover the funds, and the police were actively involved until restitution was made.
This incident was transparently handled and in no way dents the image, structure, or values of the Obidient Movement.

Let it be known that Mr. Peter Obi and the Obidient Movement stand firmly for truth, accountability, and service to Nigerians. We reject every attempt by the APC propaganda machine to drag us into the same pit of lies, corruption, and misgovernance they have forced Nigerians to endure.
The Obidient family remains united, committed, and unwavering in our pursuit of a New Nigeria where every citizen can live with dignity, prosperity, and justice. No amount of falsehood will derail this vision.

Eid El Maulud 2025: A Day of Reflection in Nation Building

On Saturday, 6th September 2025, in the heart of Kaduna under the radiant September sun, the Maulud Nabiyy celebration unfolded with a profound sense of unity and hope.
The vibrant city, known for its rich cultural tapestry, became a stage for a message that resonated far beyond its borders a message of a New Nigeria, delivered with grace and conviction on behalf of HE Peter Obi.
As the Obidient Movement joined Muslims worldwide to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on the 12th day of Rabi’ al-Awwal, we are reminded that reflection, justice, and compassion remain the foundation of true nation-building.

Mr. Wike once promised to support whoever wins the PDP 2023 ticket.

FACTS VS LIES
Once again, paid agents spread propaganda, but Nigerians are wiser now.

On Dec 9, 2024, we visited elder statesman Afe Babalola. The Dele Farotimi defamation case was withdrawn through the Ooni of Ife—not because Peter Obi “begged.” That lie has already been corrected by eyewitness IK Aboyi.

Obi never engages in personal attacks or inducements. His focus is education, healthcare, youth empowerment, poverty reduction—not patronage politics.

Seeking mercy for others while demanding accountability is not hypocrisy. On Nigeria’s debt, DMO confirmed it rose from ₦144.67trn in Q4 2024 to ₦149.38trn in Q1 2025. Facts, not deceit.

The “Yes Daddy” audio was a legal option, not guilt. No credible link exists between Obi and the alleged Lagos WhatsApp broadcast. Propagandists recycle lies to stay relevant.

The Obidient Movement stands for truth over lies, service over selfishness, and facts over propaganda. Nigerians deserve better. A New Nigeria is POssible.

Fellow Nigerians,

Let no one intimidate you. Let no one tell you that you do not belong here or that seeking a better future is dangerous. Nigeria belongs to all of us, no one owns this country more than the other.
If they stand against Obi, we will still stand strong. Because this movement is not about one man. It is about saving a nation that is collapsing before our very eyes. We are raising our voices because we are standing on the graves of our mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. Because we have become displaced in our own land. Because the killings have continued unchecked, year after year. Just yesterday, over 200 people were murdered in their sleep.
We speak for the families who will go to bed hungry tonight.
For the farmers who have lost everything to insecurity.
For the business owners crushed by a failing economy.
For the young lives wasted through police brutality.
For the graduates whose degrees feel like empty papers.
For every Nigerian betrayed by corruption, greed, and a system built on criminality.

This movement is bigger than Peter Obi. It is about building a nation that works for all of us. Regardless of who you voted for, which party you supported, where you come from, or what you worship, if your heart breaks at what Nigeria has become, then you are one of us. Together, we can build a nation that works for you, for me, for us, and for everyone.

But remember: the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) is your power. It is the power of the poor as much as it is the power of the rich. Do not be silenced. Register. Vote. Take responsibility for your future.
Join the Obidient Movement today. Because the time has come to say: Enough is enough.
This is your invitation. Let us rise and rebuild Nigeria.

*UK-based Actor, Oseloka, Son Of Peter Obi Finally Addresses The Public After Mischievous Makers Tried To Change The Narrative Following Viral Photos With His Friend And Colleague*

Dear Nigerians,

I have refrained from engaging with the vitriol, scorn, and suspicion directed at me online because I was not raised to trade in lies or to indulge in false narratives.

I did not do so as a child, and I will not begin now as a grown man. Because of my father's involvement in Nigerian politics, there has been a persistent curiosity and, at times, malicious obsession, with me. Why? I do not know.

I have no social media presence and no interest in maintaining one, so I rarely correct these falsehoods. But perhaps it is time I address them.

I understand that gossip follows those connected to public life. But let me remind you: my father is the one in politics, not me. To assume that my life or choices are somehow political statements is a flawed and childish calculation. It reveals more about the pettiness of those spreading such narratives than it does about me or my father.

This pattern has become all too familiar: individuals opposed to my father seize ordinary photos of me, images that are neither hidden nor secret and repackage them with false stories. These are not revelations. They are not "exposés." They are simply misrepresentations; fiction spun from pictures.

I am an actor by profession. Many are surprised, given the businessman, entrepreneur, and economist my father is. Though my career is far from what he envisioned, he supports me fully. Unlike many children of Nigerian politicians, I have never relied on nepotism. I was raised to know that my father's wealth is not mine, and that I must build my own life. My chosen path is in theatre and film making, far from politics, an industry that embraces diversity of class, race, sexuality, and identity.

I trust any rational person can see how absurd this is.

More importantly, Nigeria has far greater issues than idle speculation about what Peter Obi's son is doing.

Our nation still struggles with insecurity, a weakened economy, crumbling infrastructure, failing healthcare, and politicians who steal from the people they swore to serve. And yet, for some, the priority is to spread gossip about who Peter Obi's son appears with in a photo.

This is a distraction from the real crises that matter to all Nigerians.

The truth is simple: Peter Obi's son appears in photos with his friends and colleagues, nothing more.

Nor I or my father are perfect men, and as father and son we have our differences. But I can attest to his integrity and his relentless desire to lead Nigeria out of its current hardships.

In our home, as a child, the lesson was always clear: face your work, do it honestly, and contribute to the good of others. That is what I will continue to do.

So, to those who attempt to distract us with lies: I beg you, stop pulling attention away from Nigeria's urgent problems.

My father has my vote, not because he is my father, but because he is the right man for the job. If others wish to go low, invent scandals, or attack me to wound him, they are free to do so.

But we will go high, and we will continue to focus on the future of Nigeria.

With love,
*Oseloka*
