THE WILDERNESS TEST
The devil knows that if he comes right in the public on the platform and says, "Now I want to test you.
I want you to fall," you will definitely resist him and refuse to fall. But he knows that majority of men that will not fall in the public, will fall if he brings the same temptation to them in the secret.
A brother who will not look at a woman lustfully when he is on the pulpit may entertain that same woman if she comes at 10 p.m when nobody is around. The devil normally does not arrange the downfall of a man on the platform.
He arranges the downfall of men that he knows are going to become great for God, in secret and in the wilderness.
