GOD SHALL CANCEL ANY EVIL REPORT CONCERNING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

“Many people have abandoned a good cause because of evil reports."

—Pastor Enoch King-Olayinka

Numbers 14:36-37 KJV
“And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land, even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.”

An evil report is the negative expectation of the enemies.

The enemies create evil reports to cause fear and to cause discouragement.

Some times ago, a man built a beautiful hotel and everyone predicted that it was a game changer in the community, but some people create an evil report. They said someone was murdered in the night in the hotel's swimming pool. This evil report circulated willd and closed down the hotel.

Remember to pray against an evil report concerning you.

The evil report concerning you shall be cancelled in Jesus' name!

The children of Israel were on their way to the Promised Land.

God had already spoken.

God had already promised.

God had already prepared the land.

But ten spies returned with an evil report.

Numbers 13:32 KJV
“And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel.”

God's promise had not changed.

But the report changed the people's perception.

That is the danger of an evil report.

An evil report can make people see impossibility where God has declared possibility.

It can make you fear what God has already conquered.

It can make you doubt what God has already promised.

But there were two men who refused to agree with the evil report.

Joshua and Caleb said:

Numbers 14:7-8 KJV
“The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us.”

What a faith!

Ten people saw giants. Two people saw God.

Ten people saw obstacles. Two people saw opportunity.

Ten people brought an evil report. Two people brought a report of faith.

May you always have the grace to believe God's report above every evil report!

Isaiah 53:1 KJV
“Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?”

When the report of men contradicts the report of God, believe God!

Remember Job.

Satan brought an evil report concerning Job.

He accused Job before God.

Job 1:9-10 KJV
“Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?”

The devil tried to create a narrative that Job served God only because of what he had received.

Then tragedy came.

Job lost his possessions.

Job lost his children.

Job lost his health.

People began to interpret his suffering.

His friends came and accused him.

They assumed that his troubles were evidence of hidden sin.

But their report was wrong.

At the end of the story, God Himself corrected the report.

Job 42:12 KJV
“So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning.”

What a testimony!

The report changed.

God shall change every evil report concerning you and your family!

David also faced an evil report.

When David came against Goliath, Eliab, his elder brother, accused him of wrong motives.

1 Samuel 17:28 KJV
“Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart.”

David did not allow his brother's accusation to define him.

He knew who he was.

He knew what God had put inside him.

He eventually faced Goliath.

And the giant fell.

Sometimes, people will write a report about you based on what they think they know.

Do not allow their report to become your identity.

God knows the truth about you.

God knows your heart.

God knows your sacrifice.

God knows your journey.

God knows what He has ordained for your life.

The report of heaven shall prevail over the report of hell!

Your enemies may prepare an evil report.

God can turn it into a testimony.

They may say you will not rise.

God can make you rise.

They may say your family will scatter.

God can preserve your family.

They may say your business is finished.

God can restore it.

They may say your ministry is over.

God can renew your strength.

They may rejoice over your temporary setback.

But they shall not rejoice over your final defeat!

Psalm 35:19 KJV
“Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me.”

I declare:

Your enemies shall not have the last laugh!

Their celebration shall be premature.

Their conclusion shall be wrong.

Their evil expectation shall fail.

Their evil report shall be cancelled!

Haman prepared an evil report against Mordecai and the Jews.

He even built gallows upon which Mordecai was supposed to die.

But God reversed the story.

Esther 7:10 KJV
“So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai.”

The very instrument prepared for destruction became the instrument of judgment against the enemy.

Every evil expectation concerning your family shall be disappointed!

Every tongue speaking evil against your destiny shall be silenced!

The enemy may have information.

But God has the final decision.

People may know your past.

But God knows your future.

People may know your mistakes.

But God knows your destiny.

People may remember where you fell.

God knows where He is taking you.

Never allow an evil report to make you abandon a good God.

Numbers 23:19 KJV
“God is not a man, that he should lie.”

If God has spoken concerning you, He is able to bring it to pass.

If God has promised your family preservation, hold on to Him.

If God has promised restoration, keep believing.

Therefore, do not fear.

Only the counsel of God shall stand in Jesus name.

PRAYER

1. O Lord, arise and cancel every evil report concerning me, my household and my family, in Jesus' name.

2. Father, let every false accusation, evil expectation and wicked pronouncement against my life and family be overturned, in Jesus' name.

3. O Lord, do not allow my enemies to rejoice over me; turn every evil report into a testimony, in Jesus' name.

I PROPHESY

Every evil report concerning you and your family is cancelled in Jesus' name!

YOU SHALL RISE ABOVE EVERY STORM IN JESUS NAME

“Storms may test your strength, but they cannot cancel God's purpose for your life.”

—Pastor Enoch King-Olayinka

Psalm 46:1-2 KJV
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.”

Storms can come in a marriage, business, ministry or a career.

Storm can arise from carelessness or recklessness.

The more reason the Bible encouraged us to be prayerful and be watchful.

The presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God.

The disciples discovered this when a great storm arose while Jesus was with them in the boat.

Mark 4:37 KJV
“And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.”

Fear gripped them, and they cried:

“Master, carest thou not that we perish?”

But Jesus arose.

Mark 4:39 KJV
“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.”

And the wind ceased.

Jesus shall speak unto the storm of your life, and they shall cease in Jesus name.

Therefore, do not allow what is happening around you to make you forget who is with you.

If Jesus is in your boat, you shall not sink!

You shall not lose your faith because of a difficult season.

You shall not abandon your assignment because of temporary adversity.

Remember Noah.

The flood covered the earth, but the ark remained above the waters.

Genesis 7:17 KJV
“And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.”

What a picture!

The same waters that threatened Noah became the force that lifted him.

May God turn your storm into a lifting force!

What was designed to bury you shall become a platform for your elevation.

What was meant to discourage you shall strengthen your faith.

What was intended to stop you shall not prevent God's purpose from being fulfilled.

There are storms you do not overcome by fighting everything around you.

Sometimes, you overcome by rising above it.

The eagle does not fight every current.

It uses the wind to rise.

There are opinions you must stop answering.

There are provocations you must stop responding to.

There are disappointments you must stop rehearsing.

There are past failures you must stop carrying into your future.

Rise above them!

Colossians 3:2 KJV
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”

Rise above bitterness.

Rise above discouragement.

Rise above rejection.

Rise above the limitations of yesterday.

Rise above the voices that tell you that you cannot become what God has ordained you to be.

The storm of life could not cancel the plan of God for Joseph.

Your present condition is not your final destination.

David was anointed king, yet he spent years hiding from Saul.

He lived in caves and faced danger, but God's promise survived the storm.

Eventually, David sat upon the throne.

Romans 8:28 KJV
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

You may not understand everything you are passing through.

Keep trusting God.

You may have waited longer than expected.

Keep believing.

You may have prayed without seeing immediate results.

Keep praying.

Galatians 6:9 KJV
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Do not quit in the storm.

Do not make permanent decisions because of temporary pressure.

Psalm 30:5 KJV
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”

Your morning is coming!

The storm has an expiry date.

The clouds will clear.

The waters will recede.

And your testimony shall speak.

Daniel entered the lions' den, but God preserved him.

The three Hebrew children entered the fiery furnace, but they came out without the smell of fire.

Peter sank beneath the waves, but Jesus stretched forth His hand and rescued him.

Paul survived shipwreck and continued his assignment.

Acts 28:5 KJV
“And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.”

They went through storms, but the storms did not determine their endings.

You shall rise above this present season in Jesus name.

Psalm 34:19 KJV
“Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”

The God who preserved Noah shall preserve you.

The God who lifted Joseph shall lift you.

The God who delivered Daniel shall deliver you.

The God who calmed the sea shall speak peace to every storm confronting your life.

When God says, “Peace, be still,” no storm can resist His command.

Therefore, strengthen your heart.

Hold on to your faith.

Keep moving forward.

Your storm shall not have the final word in Jesus name.

PRAYER

1. O Lord, arise and speak peace to every storm raging in my life and family, in Jesus' name.

2. Father, give me grace to remain steadfast in faith through every storm of life, in Jesus' name.

3. O Lord, turn every storm confronting me into a testimony and a lifting force, in Jesus' name.

I PROPHESY

Every storm raging around your life shall be silenced in Jesus' name!

You shall emerge from this season with greater strength, wisdom and testimony in Jesus name.
