Governor Ododo's achievement of increasing the minimum wage to ₦72,500 is a significant win for laborers in Kogi State. This increase can have a positive impact on the economy, as higher wages can lead to increased consumer spending, which in turn can boost economic growth ¹.

*Benefits of the Minimum Wage Increase:*

- _Increased Consumer Spending_: With more money in their pockets, laborers are likely to spend more, thereby contributing to the overall economic growth ¹.
- _Reduced Poverty_: A higher minimum wage can help reduce poverty levels, as low-income workers will have more disposable income to meet their basic needs ¹.
- _Improved Living Standards_: The increased minimum wage can lead to improved living standards for laborers and their families ¹.

However, it's also important to consider potential drawbacks, such as:

- _Inflation_: Higher wages can lead to increased production costs for firms, which may result in higher prices for consumers ¹.
- _Unemployment_: If firms are unable to absorb the increased labor costs, it may lead to job losses, particularly in industries with thin profit margins ¹.

*Real-World Examples:*

- In the UK, despite concerns about the impact of minimum wage increases on employment, unemployment rates have fallen to 4.5% ¹.
- In California, a study found that increasing the minimum wage to $15 had a limited effect on overall employment and inflation, but significantly increased earnings for low-wage workers ¹.

Overall, the impact of the minimum wage increase will depend on various factors, including the specific characteristics of the labor market and the degree of compliance with the minimum wage law

Comr. Ilemona of Kogi Vanguard. Am praising Governor Ododo for his outstanding achievement - increasing the minimum wage to ₦72,500! This is a huge win for laborers in Kogi State, and a testament to the governor's commitment to improving their lives.

It's not the only recognition Governor Ododo has received, though. The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, also commended his performance during his first 100 days in office, urging him to stay focused and disregard detractors ¹. Additionally, Governor Ganduje of Kano State congratulated Governor Ododo on his exemplary work, particularly in handling the Ondo State Governorship primary election with transparency and integrity [2).

As Elbert Hubbard once said, "A little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success." It's clear that Governor Ododo's persistence and effort are paying off.

Kudos to Governor Ododo and the laborers of Kogi State! Your hard work and dedication are truly valued.

"President Tinubu's nationwide address showcases his administration's efforts to revamp Nigeria's economy and improve citizens' lives.
His commitment to removing fuel subsidies, increasing revenue, and boosting productivity is commendable. The various initiatives and investments in education, skill development, and infrastructure are promising.
However, the current protests highlight the need for more effective communication and urgent action on security and economic empowerment.

Mr. President, your efforts are acknowledged, but more needs to be done to address the concerns of Nigerians. I urge your administration to:

1. Enhance security measures to protect citizens and maintain order.
2. Engage in open dialogue with protesters to understand their grievances.
3. Implement policies that provide immediate relief to those affected by the fuel subsidy removal.

4. Continue to invest in education, skill development, and job creation.

May God bless your efforts, Mr. President.
May your administration bring renewed hope and prosperity to Nigeria."

fellow nigerians

I understand the frustration and desire for change, but I urge you to consider the bigger picture. President Tinubu is working tirelessly to address our nation's challenges. Let's examine this through the lenses of Basic Needs Theory, Dependency Theory, and Modernization Theory.

Basic Needs Theory reminds us that our fundamental needs - food, water, shelter, healthcare, and education - must be met for human survival and dignity. President Tinubu's efforts to diversify our economy and invest in infrastructure aim to ensure these basic needs are met for all Nigerians

Dependency Theory highlights the risks of relying heavily on developed countries. By promoting local industries and self-sufficiency, President Tinubu is working to break the cycle of dependence and empower Nigeria to stand on its own feet and guest is one of Mr president reason why he closed down boarder.

Modernization Theory emphasizes the importance of gradual, incremental progress. President Tinubu's policies and initiatives are designed to modernize our nation, but this takes time, effort, and patience.

Let's calm down, have faith in our leaders, and trust the process. Mr. President is committed to fixing Nigeria and making us a proud, independent nation. Let's support him and work together towards a brighter future.

Remember, patience is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength and understanding. I understood that these economy hardship is every were, but we Nigerians students fill its the most, but my trust and believe is that, it's just an event it will not going to be long again everything will become history for us.

Let's give President Tinubu the time and support he needs to deliver on his promises."thank you🇳🇬.

If not for economy how about slavery and racism our fathers fought against and today, there is no man of a woman from Nigeria would be slave to a foreigner.

May the sweat and blood of our fathers and mothers never go to vain.
