2027: APM Demands Release of FBI Report on Tinubu
…Insists Nigerian Want a Leader with Clean Records

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) urges the United States authorities to make public the findings in the report of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on the drug-trafficking records allegedly linked to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The APM notes that the US authorities can release aspects of the report that will not endanger lives, expose witnesses, investigators or techniques used in the investigation.

Our Party asserts that the sustained efforts by the Tinubu Presidency to block the release of the report to the public heightens suspicion of guilt and desperation for a coverup.

The APM urges the United States authorities to note that withholding such information is of enormous harm to Nigeria’s security, national integrity and Democratic growth.

The United States being a leading democracy in the world should at all times be seen to always facilitate the consolidation of democracy and transparency in the international fight against drug trafficking and corruption.

The drug and other ancillary allegations against President Tinubu, who is a major contender in the 2027 Presidential election constitutes a global issue which continues to harm Nigeria’s reputation among the comity of nations.

This is especially as the public is already aware of the 1993 $460,000 forfeiture judgement against accounts traced to Tinubu by the US District Court for Northern District of Illinois following an investigation into drug-related transactions.

The effect of the $460,000 forfeiture judgement is that by virtue of section 137 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended), President Tinubu remains ineligible for election in Nigeria. Moreover, Nigeria is signatory to international conventions on drugs and money laundering.

Against the backdrop of the coming Presidential election, the APM urges the United States authorities to assist Nigerians in their decision to elect a leader with clean records and not an individual encumbered by drug-related allegation and corruption cases.

Change of Date for Official Commissioning of Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Office

The official commissioning of the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Office has been postponed from the earlier announced date of Thursday, September 3, 2026 to a new date of *Monday, September 7, 2026*

The event holds at the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Office, 43 Agadez Street, Wuse 2, Abuja at 11am.

The APM urges all our leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members to note this change of date and be guided accordingly.

The APM sincerely regrets any inconveniences caused by this change of date.

2027: APM Presidential Candidate, Makinde, Appoints Ehilebo as Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication.

The Presidential Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde, has appointed Barrister Anthony Ehilebo as his Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication.

This appointment takes immediate effect, with further campaign team announcements to follow.

Makinde declared that Barrister Ehilebo’s unmatched expertise as a communication strategist and lawyer will be a powerful asset in driving the APM’s message of resetting Nigeria, and victory in the 2027 presidential election.

He urged Nigerians to stand firm and rally behind the APM, emphasizing that the 2027 election is a historic opportunity to rescue Nigeria from the failed leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“With unity, courage, and determination, we will reclaim Nigeria’s destiny and deliver the future our people deserve,” Makinde affirmed.
