Ngutswen call on President TINUBU to recontest 2027 presidential election

Hon. Felix Ngutswen, the National Coordinator of Team Akpabio For Tinubu (TAT), has indeed called on President Bola Tinubu to recontest the 2027 presidential general election. According to Ngutswen, Tinubu's re-election is crucial for Nigeria's progress, citing his administration's reforms, including the abolition of petrol subsidy and the introduction of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND)

Ngutswen emphasized that Tinubu's leadership has ushered in an era of economic justice and accountability, and his re-election would bring greater prosperity to Nigeria. The TAT National Coordinator also praised Senate President Godswill Akpabio's leadership.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Vice President Kashim Shettima are scheduled to visit Jalingo, Taraba State, today Saturday, 31 January 2026, for the official defection ceremony of Governor Agbu Kefas from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The national coordinator of TAT Hon. Felix Ngutswen said the ceremony marks the formalization of Governor Kefas’s move to the APC, which he began by registering in his home ward in Wukari in late 2025. The event was previously rescheduled from November 2025 to January 2026.
Hon. Felix Ngutswen, serving as the National Coordinator of TAT TEAM AKPABIO FOR TINUBU, confirmed the Taraba chapter's readiness to receive the high-level federal delegation.
In addition to the Senate President and Vice President, "Progressive Governors" and members of the National Assembly are expected to attend the historic event in the state capital.
The national coordinator of TAT Hon Felix Ngutswen Said The defection follows a significant shift in Taraba politics, including 15 members of the State House of Assembly and the entire state executive council joining the APC alongside the governor.

The national coordinator of TAT Hon Felix Ngutswen has charged all members of TAT nation wide to participate in the APc e registration exercise that is going on nationwide.

the All Progressives Congress (APC) has initiated a nationwide, digital-first membership registration and revalidation exercise that began on January 5, 2026.

The exercise is designed to update the party's database, ensure authentic membership, and strengthen grassroots mobilization for the 2027 general election.

The APC aims to register between 8 to 9 million members nationwide, with over two million members already verified within the first week.

Eligible participants must be 18 years or older and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN

The exercise is scheduled to conclude on January 30, 2026.
Leadership Directive: The APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has instructed state coordinators to ensure 100% registration, warning of replacement for failure to meet targets.

*TEAM AKPABIO FOR* *TINUBU DISOWNS NYAKUMA AONDOAVER ACTIVITIES CONCERNING TAT*

The National Secretariat of the socio-political group, Team Akpabio For Tinubu, TAT, has officially disown the activities of one Hon. Nyakuma Aondoaver from Benue State, concerning the group, saying that 'He is not a member of TAT and cannot speak for the group."

The National Coordinator of TAT, Hon Felix Ngutswen made this known in Abuja, on Wednesday , January 14, 2026, while reacting to the claims made by one NYAKUMA AONDOAVER on the appointment of TAT executives in Benue state.

The National Coordinator stated that, Team Akpabio For Tinubu is "a national campaign organization that is committed to the re-election of the President, Senate President and all progressive members of APC at all levels, come 2027".

Honourable Ngutswen made it categorically clear that NYAKUMA AONDOAVER is not a member of the group, hence cannot speak for TAT nor the people of Benue state as he had claimed.

The National Coordinator described the allegations made by NYAKUMA AONDOAVER as "undemocratic and baseless" pointing out that, "TAT is an independent political support group that is currently in 26 states of the federation including FCT and the appointment of her executives are purely based on merit and competence and has nothing to do with the Senate president approval."

The National Coordinator said that no Nigerian should drag the Senate president into the internal affairs of the organization or her activities, the national coordinator further said that TAT is committed to seeing that the president and the Senate president and APC Governors return back to power come 2027.

Honourable Ngutswen further said that, the Senate president is one of the Nigerian finest politicians who has done very well for his state and Nigeria at large and should be commended.

Good morning my fellow TAT members.
My name is Felix Ngutswen your National Chairman.

It's my pleasure to address you this morning and congratulate you all for making it to year 2026.

You all have been consistent and brave in making sure that we both arrived here safe and sound, Iam grateful for all the sacrifices we both make to build a formidable TAT team, thank you all for this wonderful support.

We are committed to seeing that TAT succeed beyond the pages of our social media handles and make sure our massages and campaigns are everywhere at door step of all Nigerians.

We must strengthen our Leadership structures at the state down to ward level, we will inject more energy and inspire our people to do more and be committed to the future. Every state coordinator of TAT will submit a comprehensive list of his state, local government and ward executive to the national Secretariat for this year review.

We are going to yet commence another groundbreaking empowerment program that will help alleviate the suffering our people at the grassroots.

This year, the future of the Nation and the world is particularly on our minds. We're thinking of our nation, because in the year ahead, we Nigerians will choose our next President. Every adult citizen has a role to play in the making of this decision. We will listen to what the candidates say and we will re-elect our president BOLA AHMED TINUBU to continue with his Good work .

As I said earlier, we members of TAT will also be thinking about the future and concentrate our energy on reshaping our organization and preparing it for the task ahead.

Last year in Abuja , we signed the Digital innovation skills program with two foreign partners that will help provide the necessary skills and knowledge to help empower our youth to be self equipped in the ICT digital skills, the program will be officially lunch this year as part of empowerment program to help create jobs and provide a more sustainable development.
