The *Director of City Boy Movement, FCT, Comrade Bitrus Lawrence Garki* has applauded the *Convener of Foundation for Good Governance, Comrade Tahir Abdullahi*, for his *resilience, commitment, and outstanding leadership* in mobilizing support for the *Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR*.

The commendation was made during a stakeholders’ meeting where the Director also urged all members to remain united and committed ahead of the *2027 Presidential Election*.

The *Former Majority Leader of Abuja Municipal Area Council, Hon. Tahir Yusuf Kadir*, who was present, also appealed for inclusiveness. He urged the Director to ensure that *loyal members are carried along* in matters of *employment opportunities* and in the *formation of the CBM FCT Campaign Council*.

The Director recommended *Mrs. Raji Lola* for the position of *Woman Leader* in recognition of her dedication and service to the movement.

*MINUTES OF MEETING*
*EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE & STAKEHOLDERS MEETING*
*FOUNDATION FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE*

*Date*: Saturday, 18th July 2026
*Time*: 4:45pm
*Venue*: Camp Laveth Hotel, Phase 4, Nyanya, Abuja, FCT

1. *OPENING*
The meeting was called to order at about 4:45pm.
*Opening Prayer* was said by *Alhaji Yahaya Yusuf*.
Attendance was recorded and it was noted that *more than 75% of members were in attendance*, forming a quorum.

2. *WELCOME ADDRESS*
*Hon. Tahir Kadir Yusuf* delivered the welcome address. Key points:
- Recognized the commitment and resilience of members of the Foundation for Good Governance.
- Appreciated the presence of the Party Chairman, *Hon. Ahmed Madugu* of Abuja Municipal Area Council, and other dignitaries.
- Assured party members remain focused ahead of 2027 and work together to deliver *President Bola Ahmed Tinubu* and other candidates of the party.

3. *SECRETARY’S REPORT*
*Comrade Tahir Abdullahi*, Secretary, presented the report of activities and achievements of the Foundation since its inauguration in 2023.

4. *REMARKS BY CO-CONVENER*
The Co-Convener appreciated past executive members for their selfless service and reassured members of better days ahead.
He also noted the recognition of the Foundation for Good Governance by the City Boys Movement as a welcome development.

5. *ADDRESS BY THE GRAND PATRON*
*Hon. Ahmed Madugu*, Chairman of AMAC and Grand Patron, addressed the meeting:
- Commended the outgoing executive.
- Advised the leadership to maintain *fairness and transparency*.
- Promised to network the Foundation with the other six Area Council Chairmen.
- Assured that members of the Foundation will be captured in the *Presidential Campaign Council*.

6. *WELFARE*
The meeting witnessed *adequate refreshments* provided for all members in attendance.

7. *RESOLUTIONS*
After deliberations, the following resolutions were adopted:
1. *Dissolution of Executive*: The current executive of the Foundation for Good Governance is hereby *dissolved* with immediate effect.
2. *New Executive*: The incoming executive will comprise members who are committed and resilient to the development of the Foundation.
3. *2027 Goal*: All members are tasked to work tirelessly to ensure the re-election of *President Bola Ahmed Tinubu* in the 2027 general elections.
4. *Steering Committee*: A Steering Committee was constituted to oversee the formation of the new organizational structure.
*Committee Members*:
- *Chairman*: Hon. Tahir Kadir Yusuf
- *Secretary*: Comrade Tahir Abdullahi
- Members: SARKI Noma, Dr. Yusuf Abubakar, Dr. John Okobo, Mrs. Raji Lola, Hajiya Iyabo, Hon. Yahaya Yusuf, Mr. Ali Ifedayo, and others.
*Mandate*: The committee is charged to submit its report and propose new executives within *two (2) weeks*.

*8. CLOSING REMARKS*
*Dr. John Okobo* gave the closing remarks and vote of thanks.
The meeting adjourned shortly after.
