Earlier today Monday 13th July, 2026, Special Adviser Bureau of Special Projects , Director-General of the Office of Transformation and Service Delivery (OTSD), the Honourable Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and other officials from our respective agencies on a working visit to the site of the Indoor Sports Complex, Ado-Ekiti.

The routine joint inspection reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring quality, value for money, and strict compliance with approved standards in the ex*****on of public projects, in line with the vision and exemplary leadership of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji. Stage-by-stage inspection and review remain a core responsibility of the Bureau of Special Projects. As the agency charged with supervising government projects, it is imperative that we continuously assess the progress and quality of work at every phase of ex*****on to ensure strict compliance with approved standards and specifications.

During the week, my team and I held a meeting with contractors handling selected projects under the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji following our inspection of the works completed thus far on the project sites.

The engagement provided an opportunity to review progress, address observed issues, and reinforce our collective commitment to the timely delivery of quality projects for the benefit of the people of Ekiti State.

Ekiti Bureau of Special Projects Monitors Ongoing LPRES Infrastructure Projects

The Ekiti State Bureau of Special Projects, Office of the Governor, has conducted a monitoring exercise on major infrastructure projects being implemented under the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) Project across the state.

The monitoring team inspected the ongoing construction of the ultramodern abattoir, modern cattle market and broiler processing plant along the EKSU/Iworoko Road in Ado-Ekiti, as well as the 30,000- bird capacity climate-smart poultry estate at Emure-Ekiti.

Speaking during the inspection, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Projects, Mr. Olubunmi Talabi, represented by the Executive Secretary of the Bureau, Engr. Kehinde Bakare, said the exercise was aimed at assessing the quality of work, ensuring compliance with approved specifications and confirming that the projects were progressing according to schedule.

Talabi commended the contractors for the level of work completed so far and urged them to sustain the quality of ex*****on while ensuring timely delivery of the projects.

Also speaking, the State Project Coordinator of LPRES, Mr. Olayinka Adedipe, represented by the Project Engineer, Engr. Daniel Osasona, appreciated the Bureau of Special Projects for its continuous oversight and support.

He described the projects as strategic investments of the Ekiti State Government aimed at modernising livestock infrastructure, improving meat processing and marketing's systems, strengthening poultry production, creating employment opportunities and enhancing food security across the state.

Adedipe assured the monitoring team that the LPRES Project Management Unit would continue to work closely with contractors, consultants and other stakeholders to ensure the timely completion and successful delivery of all projects for the benefit of livestock value chain actors and residents of the state.

Members of the monitoring team included Quantity Surveyors Omotayo Dare and Segun Ogundipe, Builders Ramota Kolawole and Ayobami Jegede, as well as the LPRES Procurement Officer, Mr. Sunday Alabi.

The monitoring exercise, according to officials, underscored the Ekiti State Government's commitment to effective project supervision, quality infrastructure delivery and the successful implementation of the LPRES Project as part of efforts to transform the livestock sector and improve livelihoods across the state.

I led the Project Monitoring Team on a routine inspection of selected infrastructural projects under the supervision of the Bureau of Special Projects, Office of the Governor, Ekiti State, yesterday July 1 , 2026.

The inspection was undertaken to assess the level of work done to ensure strict compliance with approved specifications, monitor the quality of project ex*****on, and reaffirm the Bureau's commitment to the timely delivery of projects that advance the developmental vision and Shared Prosperity Agenda of the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for the benefit of the good people of Ekiti State.

We remain committed to ensuring that every project entrusted to the Bureau is executed in accordance with the highest standards of quality, accountability, and value for public .

In accordance with our longstanding tradition, the Bureau of Special Projects commenced the new month with its July Prayer Meeting, bringing together members of staff to commit the month into God's hands.

The prayer session was marked by heartfelt thanksgiving, fervent prayers for divine guidance, wisdom, protection, and greater success in the discharge of our responsibilities. We also prayed for the continued peace, progress, and development of Ekiti State, as well as for the success of the administration of His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.

In the spirit of love and togetherness, members of staff celebrating their birthdays in the month of July were also specially recognized and celebrated. The celebrants received warm wishes and prayers for God's continued blessings, good health, long life, and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.

BUNMI TALABI CAMPAIGN TEAM STORMS JESUTOFUNMI-ABEKOKO AND EGBEWA COMMUNITIES IN ADO-EKITI

The Bunmi Talabi Campaign Team for BAO today continued its grassroots mobilization efforts with visits to Jesutofunmi-Abekoko, and Egbewa Community in Ado-Ekiti.

The team moved from house to house and interacted closely with residents, sensitizing them on the achievements of the administration of Biodun Oyebanji and the need to sustain the ongoing developmental strides across the state by supporting the BAO/MCA ticket.

During the engagement, community members expressed appreciation for the numerous people-oriented projects and policies being implemented by the state government, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, healthcare, education, and social welfare.

Speaking during the campaign tour, Hon. Bunmi Talabi reiterated the importance of grassroots participation in the electoral process, urging eligible voters to remain committed to the vision of continuity, progress, and shared prosperity being championed by the BAO administration.

The campaign train received a warm reception across the three communities as residents pledged their continued support for Governor Oyebanji and the All Progressives Congress ahead of the forthcoming election.
