GUIDE: EKITI AGRO-ALLIED CARGO AIRPORT

▫️Construction of 3.2km runway is nearing completion;

▫️It complements Governor Fayemi’s strategy to position Ekiti as an agriculture hub with cargo facilities for exports;

▫️It complements Ekiti plan with its proximity to ABUAD Teaching Hospital for medical tourism, and few minutes drive from Ikogosi & Arinta for recreational tourism;

▫️It also complements Ekiti’s Knowledge Zone and is within 10km of the proposed site of the zone;

▫️This further opens up the state to attract tourists and skilled migration to boost IGR, serve the southwest and middle belt food basket region, improve commercial activity as a “dry port” for fresh and processed products and make Ekiti State a logistics hub in the agro-allied industry.
