On 18 June 2026, DELSACA participated in the UN Women and Partners HIV Legacy Last Mile Documentary project. The partners involved included ASWHAN, Mentor Mothers, Young Adults, and the UN Women Private Sector Representative.

The team was hosted by the Executive Secretary of DELSACA, Dr. Rudolf Hobson. Also in attendance was the wife of the Obi of Ubulu-Unor.

The documentary aims to highlight a decade of contributions to the HIV response in Nigeria and to identify future priorities for strengthening HIV interventions, particularly for women and girls living with HIV.

The Delta State Government has unveiled the HIV/AIDS State Strategic Plan (2025–2027)—a comprehensive and inclusive framework designed to strengthen the State’s HIV response.

Developed with key stakeholders and partners, including the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), the plan focuses on sustainability, expanded access to care, and coordinated action across all 25 LGAs and 370 wards.
