My dear people of Oredo Local Government Area, as Edo South officially flags off the Local Government Election Campaign, I wish to sincerely appreciate you for your unwavering support, trust, and cooperation with our administration. Since assuming office, we have remained committed to delivering impactful projects and people-oriented programmes under the Project Shine Agenda.

Through God's grace, we have recorded notable achievements in road maintenance, market infrastructure, environmental sanitation, education, youth empowerment, and other community development initiatives aimed at improving the lives of our people. As we continue this journey together, I reaffirm my commitment to sustaining and expanding these developmental strides across all wards in Oredo. Our administration remains focused on building a more prosperous, secure, and progressive local government where every resident can thrive.

FROM PROTEST TO PROGRESS: OREDO COUNCIL BOSS ENGAGES PROTESTING OBA MARKET TRADERS

Barely few weeks after the facility tour of the newly remodeled Oba Market by the Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Oredo Local Government Council Secretariat was besieged by a group of traders who staged a protest over concerns surrounding the proposed allocation of shop spaces in the market

Addressing the traders, the Executive Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council, Hon. Engr. Gabriel Iduseri, reiterated the Edo State Governor's position to return the shops to the original trustees, while emphasizing his administration's commitment to the principles of fairness.

Hon. Iduseri therefore urged the traders to embrace dialogue rather than protest, stressing that constructive engagement remains the best approach to resolving concerns
He assurred that from the proper verification and documentation of all trustees, the overall interest of the traders will guard the proposed allocation exercise.

Meanwhile, the Committee on Shop Verification has successfully concluded the verification exercise for all trustees.

Oredo Council Boss, Hon. Engr. Gabriel Iduseri, congratulates Officer Alufa Samuel, of the Nigeria Police Force on his well-deserved promotion from the rank of Constable to Corporal.

Describing Corporal Alufa's promotion as a fitting reward for years of loyal and meritorious service to the Nigeria Police Force, Oredo Local Government Council, Edo State, and the nation at large, the Council Boss noted that, the Corporal Alufa's elevation serves as a source of motivation to other officers and public servants, while emphasizing that diligence, hard work, and excellence are always recognized and rewarded.

Hon. Iduseri therefore reaffirmed his administration's commitment to recognizing and celebrating individuals who contribute significantly to peace, security, and community development. Other speakers at the ceremony also congratulated the newly promoted officer and praised his exemplary dedication to service and professional conduct.
