Learning beyond the classroom! 🌱🚜🐟

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Brother Pius School for an exciting agricultural excursion. The students explored various aspects of agriculture, including crop production, fishery, forestry, planting practices, and agricultural engineering.

As part of the tour, they visited our demonstration plots, our agroforestry nursery, where they learned about tree propagation, seedling management, and the importance of agroforestry in sustainable agriculture. They were also taken to our fish ponds to gain practical knowledge of fish farming and aquaculture practices.

One of the highlights of the visit was a tour of our tractor shed, where they got an up-close look at tractors and learned how modern farm machinery contributes to efficient agricultural production.

We are delighted to have shared this enriching experience with these young learners and hope the excursion has inspired a greater appreciation for agriculture and the many opportunities it offers.

Students from Favour Star International Education Centre recently visited the ADP premises for an educational excursion, where they had the opportunity to learn about modern agriculture, agricultural development, and the important role of extension services in supporting farmers.

This initiative supports the government’s “catch them young” agenda by introducing young students to the importance of agriculture and showing them that the sector today is innovative, technology-driven, and full of opportunities.

It was inspiring to see their curiosity, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn about the future of agriculture.

We were delighted to welcome students from Favour Star International Education Centre to the Agric Hub for an educational excursion.

During the visit, the students took part in various interactive sessions where they asked thoughtful questions and gained insights into agricultural development, modern farming practices, and the important role of extension services in supporting farmers and rural communities.

This initiative also supports the Government’s SHINE Agenda — introducing children early (Catch Them Young) to the importance of agriculture and helping them understand that agriculture today is innovative, technology-driven, and full of opportunities, far beyond the traditional methods many people associate with the sector.

Seeing the curiosity, excitement, and eagerness of these young minds was truly inspiring. Moments like this remind us that the future of agriculture is bright when we invest in educating and empowering the next generation.

We sincerely appreciate Favour Star International Education Centre for choosing The Agric Hub as part of their learning journey.
