M.A. ABUBAKAR S.A.N. (MAKAMA BABBA OF BAUCHI): THE HEROIC MESSIAH
By: Umar Ibrahim sade
As mortals bound by providence, we cannot control everything, but we must persevere through trials. As 2027 approaches, Bauchi needs a leader tested by time. That leader is Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar SAN, Makama Babba of Bauchi, a man known for patience, principle, and service.
While we submit to God’s will and find solace in destiny, we must also act with faith and purpose. Leadership is part of that destiny. As the APC prepares for 2027, Bauchi is being asked to choose experience over experiment. Makama Babba offers that experience, calm in crisis and steady in purpose.
A clear conscience is the fuel of greatness. During his tenure, Governor Abubakar paid workers promptly, avoided waste, and focused on the people. That same integrity is what Bauchi needs again in 2027, a leader who puts public interest above personal comfort.
History is written by men of commitment who pursue the common good. Bauchi’s story today demands such a man. Ahead of 2027, M.A. Abubakar has offered himself again, not for titles, but to complete the work he started and deepen it with greater wisdom.
Myles Munroe said, "The greatest tragedy is to live without a reason." Governor Abubakar has always had a reason: Bauchi. From frugality to investment in farms and roads, his focus was clear. In 2027, that same focus will drive food security, jobs, and infrastructure.
I commend him for his values of probity, transparency, and inclusion. He carved a niche as a man of honour who practiced politics without rancour. In 2027, Bauchi needs that unifying spirit to heal divisions and move development forward.
After the APC’s electoral setback, he stood firm like the Rock of Gibraltar. He absorbed pressure without breaking. That resilience is why he is trusted today, and why he is ready to lead Bauchi through the challenges of 2027.
He remained focused, bold, and courageous under attack. He took insults without insulting back. That temperament matters now. Bauchi needs a leader who can calm tensions and provide stable governance.
He often said, "I sleep sound with a clean heart because I trust Allah’s decree." That faith guided his governance. As 2027 draws near, Bauchi needs that same faith-driven leadership to restore confidence and attract progress.
He also taught that we should focus on today while trusting tomorrow to Allah. The future of Bauchi is not a gamble, it is a choice. And the wise choice in 2027 is a leader who plans, delivers, and stays the course.
One lesson from Makama Babba is his belief in destiny and gratitude for Allah’s blessings. His forgiveness, integrity, and mental strength prepared him for higher service. These are why stakeholders are rallying behind his 2027 candidature.
History will judge us. It has recorded his achievements: clearing salary arrears, boosting agriculture, and running a lean government. In 2027, history can also record Bauchi choosing wisdom and continuity.
We must face our mistakes honestly and rise above them. 2027 is not about bitterness, it is about rebuilding. Makama Babba represents that forward march, linking what we started to what we must finish.
To live with honour is to be what we appear to be. Governor Abubakar has been consistent in and out of office. In an age of political packaging, that sincerity stands out and makes him the trusted choice for 2027.
Virtues grow through humility and hard work. His first term taught lessons. The years after brought reflection. He returns in 2027 with more preparation and a clearer roadmap for agriculture, education, health, and security.
May Allah continue to bless us with courageous leaders who do not abandon their people in difficult times. Bauchi needs such leadership now. In M.A. Abubakar, we have seen that courage, and we can trust it again.
May Allah help M.A. now and always, and guide Bauchi people to choose right in 2027. The task is great, but the man is ready. Makama Babba is not just a candidate. He is a mission for Bauchi’s progress.
