NOTIFICATION OF WITHDRAWAL OF HON. ABDUL JAJERE’S RESIGNATION FROM AFRICAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (ADC)

Sequel to the recent resignation notice by Hon. Abdul Jajereon the 11th October 2025 through his Social Media Platforms, the support group were engaged in series of meetings, discussions and debates on the decision made.

The Support Group has therefore, after a close door round table meeting with ADC delegation led by the State Party Chairman Alh. Kalli Umar on Wednesday 15th October 2025 at Abdul Jajere’s resident in Damaturu resolved and convinced Hon. Abdul Jajere to reverse his decision and look at the future of his political career in the party.

It is on this note that the Support Group wishes to inform the public that Hon. Abdul Jajere has withdrawn his resignation from the party and that he remain committed to ADC from ward to national level.

The Support Group appreciates the party’s work plan for Hon. Abdul Jajere going forward which includes:

1. Inclusion in all party activities and decision-making processes.

2. Equal opportunities to participate in party congresses and elections, including vying for political seats in general elections.

3. Adherence to the ADC constitution in all matters concerning Hon. Abdul Jajere's participation etc.

Finally, the Group appreciates the leadership of ADC for their concern and recognizing Hon. Abdul Jajere's pioneering role and contributions to the party. We urge the party leadership to continue promoting transparency, equity, and justice in all her activities.

PRESS RELEASE

From the Office of the Yobe State Chairman, African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kalli Alhaji Umar

A CALL FOR CAUTION: DISREGARD FAKE NEWS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

We urge the public to disregard false information circulating on social media regarding the structure and positions within the Allied Congress (ADC). As a legitimate political party, ADC operates with its own mandate, executives, and guidelines from ward to national levels.

Regarding the purported list of newly appointed executives, we clarify that the ADC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting only approved the appointment of Hauwa Yusuf as Deputy National Secretary, a former National Youth Leader and grassroots member from Yobe State.

Furthermore, we warn the public about individuals selling ADC membership cards across the state. Anyone found guilty of this fraudulent activity will face legal action, and any membership cards sold by such individuals will be considered fake.

The ADC has official channels for communication and membership registration. We advise the public to be cautious and only recognize authentic party communications.

In view of the above, the party is calling on anyone who wants to join ADC should follow the channels from grassroots (Ward level) and if one is from another party should follow the rightful channel by putting on a resignation letter to the ward chair of the old party and subsequently pick up the ADC membership card from the ward chairman of the party.

Furthermore, the party have not started issuing membership card since the COALITION of parties. Hence, the party will notify the general public as at when it will officially begin new registration of members across the states political wards and polling units.
Any membership card issued or collected is not from the leadership of the party.

Any update as regards to the above clarification shall be communicated appropriately.

PDP board of trustee Adamu Waziri dumps party and picked ADC.

One of the founding fathers and longest PDP card carrying member in Yobe State Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri has today 7th July 2025 resigned from People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and picks ADC. The veteran politician officially announced this to the media and press during the handover of his letter to the ward secretary of PDP at Damboa Primary School.

He later moved to the event center which took place at the Potiskum Cinema that has drawn thousands of people from across Yobe South Senatorial District where members of different parties including APC, LP, AA, PDP, SDP and NNPP among others joined the coalition.

The ADC chairman Kalli Alhaji Umar accompanied by Hon.Abdul Jajere received and gave ADC flag to new decamped members including Her Excellency Zainab Boni Haruna, and Abubakar Adamu Waziri (Cargo) among many others.

This is a huge milestone to the party ADC and the downfall of PDP in Yobe State.

Honorable Abdul Jajere and his team paid a curtesy visit to the Chairman of Yobe State Organized Trade Union Association Alhaji Lawan Ali and his Vice as well as the Auditor of the Association.
This is in line with the team's preparation for the 2027 General Election.
The union has 17 branches accross the 17LGAs with over 100 different unions.

The chairman promised to support the Abdul Jajere 4 Rep Support Group.

The support group will utilize the union's vast population to mobilize and prepare to come back stronger in forth coming general elections.
