*ONELGA COUNCIL CHAIRMAN RECEIVES AND INSPECTS MOBILE MEDICAL FACILITY.

The Chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Sir, Dr. Chukwu Ogbogu Shedrack Esq., DSSRS, on the 12th day of October, 2025, received and inspected the mobile hospital/ambulance sent to the Council from the Primary Healthcare unit of the Rivers State Ministry of Health.

The primary purpose of this gesture is to respond to urgent/critical emergency medical incidents/situations that may occur within the local government area.

The facility is basically going to offer first aid attention in cases of emergency medical needs/services to the people of the L.G.A. before they can seek adequate and better medical attention.

"This underscores our administration’s quest, willingness, and commitment to partner with relevant health institutions to ensure quailty healthcare improvement in the local government area. We will do all within our power to achieve and sustain it." The ONELGA Chief Executive emphasized.

ONELGA people will be further informed on how this important facility can be maximally utilised to the advantage of the common people of ONELGA.

The obviously elated Chairman further promised to take responsibility for providing accommodation and other necessary assistance to the health workers posted to the L.G.A. to make their services efficient and effective.

RT. HON. KENNETH NWADIARU HONOURED AT IRI-JI EGBEMA CULTURAL FESTIVAL, OWERRI, IMO STATE

Owerri, Imo State – October 12, 2025

Rt. Hon. Kenneth Nwadiaru, Councillor representing Ward 11 and Leader of ONELGA 9th Legislative Council, was honoured with the Award for Legislative Dynamism and Contribution to the Well-being of the Egbema People at the Iri-Ji Egbema (New Yam) Cultural Festival held in Owerri, Imo State. The event was organized by the United Egbema Brothers Association, Owerri Branch.

The annual festival, deeply rooted in Egbema tradition, served as a celebration of cultural heritage and a platform to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to leadership, grassroots development, and community advancement. Rt. Hon. Nwadiaru was acknowledged for his unwavering dedication to effective representation and transformative governance.

He attended the event in the company of Hon. Ohaji Paul, Councillor representing Ward 6; Hon. Martins Orji, Councillor representing Ward 5; and other dignitaries and supporters.
