STRATEGIC DIALOGUE ON REVENUE DIVERSIFICATION
The Zamfara State Internal Revenue Service (ZIRS), under the visionary leadership of Executive Chairman Hajiya Rakiya Ahmed Dodo, FCTI, ACA, successfully hosted a 2-day Town Hall Dialogue focused on Diversifying Revenue Streams in line with the New Tax Regime.
The event served as a dynamic platform for stakeholders to explore innovative strategies for boosting the state's economy, with particular emphasis on unlocking non-tax revenue opportunities. The occasion also saw the recognition of outstanding performers, with awards presented to best performing Institutions, corporate bodies and individuals for their outstanding contributions to revenue generation.
The dialogue was dignified by the presence of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, PhD, who reaffirmed the administration's unwavering commitment to fiscal transparency, accountability, and full implementation of the Nigeria Tax Reform Acts, 2025. His participation highlighted the strategic priority of this initiative in fostering sustainable economic growth and self-reliance.
