Hon. Terrang Congratulates Mentor, Boss Mustapha on Appointment to NNSTF Board

A former All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives aspirant for Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency in Adamawa State, Hon Musa Usman Terrang , has congratulated former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha on his appointment as Adamawa State's representative on the Board of Trustees of the Northern Nigeria Security Trust Fund.

The congratulatory message followed the appointment of Mustapha to the strategic regional security body by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

The appointment is aimed at strengthening regional security collaboration and ensuring Adamawa State is effectively represented in efforts to address the security challenges confronting Northern Nigeria.

The Northern Nigeria Security Trust Fund was established by the Northern Governors' Forum to complement the efforts of security agencies through intelligence coordination, operational support, inter-state collaboration, and community-based security initiatives across the 19 northern states.

Reacting to the development in a statement made available to journalists in Yola on Wednesday, Terrang described the appointment as a fitting recognition of Mustapha's decades of distinguished service to Adamawa State and the nation.

He said the former SGF possesses the experience, competence, and leadership qualities required to contribute meaningfully to the objectives of the Trust Fund at a time when the region continues to grapple with complex security challenges.

According to Terrang, Mustapha's outstanding record in public service, governance, and national leadership has earned him widespread respect and positioned him among the most accomplished statesmen produced by Adamawa State.

He expressed confidence that the former SGF would deploy his vast administrative experience, strategic insight, and network of relationships to advance the mandate of the Trust Fund, particularly in fostering regional cooperation and supporting initiatives aimed at improving security across Northern Nigeria.

Terrang further described Mustapha as a patriotic leader whose commitment to nation-building, integrity, and selfless service continues to serve as a source of inspiration to younger generations of political leaders both within Adamawa State and across the country.

The former aspirant wished Mustapha a successful tenure on the Board of Trustees and prayed for wisdom, good health, and divine guidance as he undertakes the new responsibility in service to the region and the nation.
