The Hon. Dauda Kushu Consultation Committee wishes to sincerely appreciate all stakeholders, party leaders, supporters, and well-wishers for their overwhelming support and encouragement toward his aspiration for the office of Executive Chairman of Hong Local Government.

Your unwavering belief, solidarity, and commitment have been a great source of strength and motivation throughout this process.

In light of the current uncertainty surrounding the final decision and endorsements by the Governor, the party, and critical stakeholders, the committee humbly appeals to our teeming supporters to remain calm, patient, and law-abiding. We urge everyone to continue to uphold the values of unity, peace, and respect for party processes.

We remain confident in the wisdom and fairness of our leaders and trust that the outcome will reflect the collective interest of the party and the good people of Hong Local Government.

Sallah barbecue which was organised by the Kushu Support Group to honour and show support for Hon. Dauda Kushu, who is the APC chairmanship candidate for Hong.

The event was attended by people of different faiths, showing the unity and diversity of the community. Special guests included religious and traditional leaders, as well as political and community leaders.

The highlight of the event was the barbecue, where various delicious meats and local dishes were served. The
Hon. Dauda Kushu addressed the dignitaries and thanked them for their support. He also used the opportunity to share his plans for the development ofqqq¹q Hong if elected as chairman.¹q

event ended with a group photo session and gift presentations to the special guests and volunteers who helped organise the event. Overall, the Sallah barbecue organised by the Kushu Support Group was a great success, bringing people of different backgrounds together to celebrate and support their candidate. It also served as a reminder of the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence in the communitqqqqqy.

CONTINUATION OF STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT FOR THE CHAIRMANSHIP ASPIRATION OF HON. DAUDA KUSHU

As the team members proceeded with the ongoing consultation and engagement with critical stakeholders across the party in respect of the chairmanship aspiration of Hon. Dauda Kushu for Hong Local Government Area under the All Progressives Congress (APC), our delegation paid a courtesy and solidarity visit to Dr. Herbert Rufus Hanawa, Senior Special Advisor to the Excutives Governor to formally welcome him to APC and also brief him on the growing consultations surrounding the chairmanship bid of Hon. Dauda Kushu. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the importance of unity, grassroots mobilization, and inclusive leadership in strengthening the party ahead of the forthcoming local government elections.

The delegation also visited Alh. Salihu Abdulkadir Midila. During the engagement, we sought his counsel and support as a respected representative of the people and a key stakeholder within the party structure. Alh. Salihu Abdulkadir commended the consultative approach being adopted and emphasized the need for party cohesion and collective responsibility in building a stronger APC in Hong Local Government.

Across all the visits, the stakeholders warmly received the delegation and expressed appreciation for the spirit of consultation and respect for party hierarchy. They acknowledged the commitment of Hon. Dauda Kushu to the progress of the party and the development of Hong Local Government Area.

The consultations remain ongoing as we continue to engage party leaders, elders, youth groups, and community stakeholders to build a broad based consensus that will strengthen the APC and position the party for victory in the forthcoming local government elections.

Our collective objective remains clear to ensure that the All Progressives Congress in Hong Local Government emerges more united, stronger, and prepared to deliver people oriented leadership through credible candidates such as Hon. Dauda Kushu.

CONTINUE STATEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT

Consultations remains the major pillar of any successful political movement in most advanced Societies.

In this spirit of constructive engagement, the APC Chairmanship Candidate of Hong LGA in the forthcoming council elections in Adamawa State 2026, Hon. Dauda Kushu and his mini consultative team, paid a courtesy visit to two former Council chairmen Hon. Ibrahim Gayus and Hon. Ahmad Yerima Isa respectively.

The aim of the visit is to exchange views and seek alignment on matters concerning the up coming Council election and our people. The consultations ended on a positive note with the former council chairmen expressing their confidence in Honourable Dauda Kushu's abilities and his commitment to serving the people of Hong Local Government Area. They urged him to remain focused and dedicated in his bid for the chairmanship position.

Honourable Dauda Kushu thanked the former council chairmen for their support and promised to work tirelessly to bring development and progress to Hong Local Government Area if he emerges as the victorious. He also assured them that their inputs and support will be highly valued and appreciated.

CONTINUATION OF STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT FOR THE CHAIRMANSHIP ASPIRATION OF HON. DAUDA KUSHU.

Today Hon. Dauda Kushu has continued his wide ranging political consultations with strategic visits to prominent stakeholders across Hong Local Government Area.

The ongoing engagement tour with respected community leaders and key Stateholders. The delegation has today meet with Barr. D D Azura former Council chairman during Military regime, Hon. Halilu Lala also former council chairman Hong LGA, And Hon. Mustapha Maigari former Member state house of Assembly Uba/Gaya to discuss the future and the collective aspiration of the people. The consultations focused on grassroots development, unity and inclusive representation.

Hon. Dauda Kushu reaffirmed his dedication to listening to the concerns of the people and incorporating their views into a people centered political agenda. He stressed that consultation remains the foundation of effective leadership and pledged to continue engaging every critical stakeholders and community within Hong LGA.

As part of his commitment to inclusive leadership and grassroots development, Hon. Dauda Kushu today continued his consultation visits to respected leaders and stakeholders across Hong Local Government Area.

The delegation met with Hon. Attah Mustapha, former Council Chairman of Hong LGA, and Bishop Mike Moses, former Adamawa State CAN Chairman. Discussions centered on the future of Hong LGA, unity among the people, and the importance of inclusive representation.

Hon. Dauda Kushu reaffirmed that listening to the people remains a key pillar of his aspiration. He assured stakeholders that their views and guidance will shape a people-focused agenda aimed at development, unity, and progress for Hong LGA.

Augustine James SSA on Project Monitoring to his to exchange views and seek alignment on matters concerning the up coming Council election and our people.

The delegation was led by Hon. Abalis paul, Comrade Ikur Edmund and Comrade Auwal Mahmud.

FOODSTUFF DISTRIBUTION.

In the spirit of faith reflection and unity that fasting Seasons represents, The two major Governorship aspirants of the APC in Adamawa State, Comrade Mustapha Salihu and Alh. Abdurahman Haske gave the 21 LGA Chairmanship candidates some foodstuffs and money for unward distributions to the 226 Ward Councillors across the 21 LGA and 21 Vice Chairmen.

Yesterday 26th February 2026 Hon. Dauda Kushu the APC Chairmanship Candidate of Hong LGA Shared the gift of foodstuffs to his 12 Wards Cousillorship Candidates.

The items distributed include 50kg of rice and 2 25kg of Rice, 25kg of Sugar and N100k to each Councillor and 500k plus 2 bags of 50kg of rice and 3 bags of 25kg of rice to his Vice Chairman for further distribution to Unit Coordinators and other Party faithfuls at the grassroots.

He also encourages them all to use this holy period to strengthen their devotion to God, promote love, unity, compassion, and support for one another, while also praying for lasting peace, progress, and prosperity in Hong Local Government, Adamawa State and the Nation at large..
