*AMOTEKUN, OPERATION BURST NABS 10-MAN CRIMINAL GANG*
The criminal activities of a ten-man syndicate ended abruptly yesterday, 26th June 2023, when Operatives of the Oyo State Security Network Agency - Amotekun in a collaborative effort with other sister agencies took the battle to the criminals' secret den.
This bold strategic move was made following an intelligence report from the Nigeria Police which gave accurate information of the criminals' hideout.
The gang who were renowned for terrorizing communities in Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State were tracked down to their hideout by Amotekun Operatives, Operation Burst n gallant Police officers.
However, in a bid to resist arrest, the gang engaged Operatives in a gun duel which led to the death of their leader, Musiliu (aka Babaláwo) while the remaining members were apprehended.
The rest of them are: Mudasiru Sikiru, Aderoju Rokeeb, Tajudeen Malik, Adeoye Rokeeb, kolawola Muyideen, Olaide Olatunde, Lateef Olamilekan, Adedokun Abdulateef and Awolola Muheez.
All suspects have been handed over to the Nigerian Police for further investigation.
