The Idah Merit Awards Publicity Committee announces the conferment and presentation of the Outstanding Leadership Award of the Idah Merit Awards 2025 – 1st Edition on Hon. Haruna Idoko Musa, Senior Technical Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State, in recognition of his exemplary leadership, distinguished public service, and outstanding contributions to governance at both the Idah Local Government and Kogi State levels.

IDAH MERIT AWARDS HONOURS PRINCE SANI OGU SALISU WITH OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP AWARD

The Idah Merit Awards Publicity Committee announces the conferment and presentation of the Outstanding Leadership Award of the Idah Merit Awards 2025 – 1st Edition on Prince Sani Ogu Salisu II, Senior Technical Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State, in recognition of his exemplary leadership and outstanding service to Kogi State.

The award acknowledges his impactful tenure as Commissioner for Transportation and subsequently as Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, where his initiatives contributed significantly to governance, youth empowerment, and sustainable development. The Committee also recognized his continuous hosting of the annual SOS Picnic and Beach Party, a flagship initiative that has fostered community engagement, youth interaction, and social cohesion within Idah.

The award was formally presented to Prince Sani Ogu Salisu during the 9th Edition of the SOS Picnic and Beach Party, in the presence of community leaders, dignitaries, and members of the Idah Merit Awards Committee.

Danladi Alhassan Sheik, in recognition of his outstanding compassion, selfless service, and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of people within Idah Local Government Area and its environs.

The award celebrates Hon. Danladi Alhassan Sheik’s consistent commitment to humanitarian causes, community development, and grassroots empowerment, with impactful interventions that have continued to support women, youths, and vulnerable groups across the area.

The award was formally presented on behalf of the Idah Merit Awards Committee by Hon. Haruna Idoko Musa, Senior Technical Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, shortly after the Naming Ceremony of Mallama Hikmatullah Danladi.

Hon. David Idris Zacharias, Member Representing Idah Federal Constituency, in recognition of his exemplary leadership, effective representation, and commitment to constituency development.

The award was presented on behalf of the Team by Hon. Suleiman Bashir Lawal Idah, a former Commissioner and the current Senior Technical Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, alongside Planning Committee, and Publicity Committee led by it's Convener, Comr. Bala Musa Eleojo.

IDAH MERIT AWARDS PRESENTS HUMANITARIAN SERVICE AWARD TO HRH CHIEF DR. SABUA REKIYA ISAH

The Idah Merit Awards presented the Humanitarian Service Award to HRH Chief Dr. Sabua Rekiya Isah, CEO of Sabua Cares Foundation.

The award was presented in recognition of her outstanding compassion, selfless service, and dedication to improving the lives of people within the Igala Kingdom and its environs. The award was received on her behalf by the Foundation Coordinator, Valuer Bash Usman, during a brief presentation attended by members of the Idah Merit Awards team.

Members of the team commended HRH Chief Dr. Sabua Rekiya Isah for her consistent humanitarian interventions and commitment to community development, which align with the core values of the Idah Merit Awards initiative.

In her response, conveyed through the Foundation Coordinator, HRH Chief Dr. Sabua Rekiya Isah expressed appreciation to the Idah Merit Awards team for the honour.
