The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched a free Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program, providing free tuition, accommodation, meals, and a monthly stipend of N22,500 for students in technical colleges. This initiative aims to equip young Nigerians with practical skills, boost employability, and foster economic growth.

In addition to the student support, the FG is also launching a tuition-free training program for teachers of technical and vocational subjects in public secondary schools. This program is designed to improve the quality of technical education by ensuring that teachers are well-equipped to deliver quality instruction. The application for this program opened on July 8, 2025.
