We are still here.

This year's theme is "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations" — the idea
that young people in the places most exposed to climate change, and least
cushioned against it, are chasing exactly what young people everywhere are
chasing. Dignity. Opportunity. A future that holds.

Lagos is a coastal city of over 20 million, where more than 70% of us are
under 35. Different context. Same aspiration.

And our young people are not waiting:

🌱 Lagos Youth Climate Action Fund — grants of $1,000–$5,000 going
directly to youth-led organisations, ages 15 to 24
⚡ Lagos Innovates — 1,200+ startups backed, 3,300+ tech talents trained
🎬 Skill Up Lagos — 1,000+ creatives trained under the Lagos Cultural Mission
🎓 Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy — leadership built at home
✈️ Leadership and Study Tours— Singapore this year.
🏅 National Intermediate Sports Festival — inaugural edition, 11–15 October
