Yesterday, we had the privilege of engaging and empowering over 2,000 young people at the Abisco Youth Summit, organised by Hon Princess Olabisi Adebajo-Abisco under the theme ๐๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐
Speaking on the topic, โ๐ฆ๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ ๐ช๐ถ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐: ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐น๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐,โ we highlighted the vital role of MRC/NELEX in providing prospective migrants with accurate , guidance, and counselling for safe and successful migration, whether for work or study. We also shared the Centreโs broader services aimed at supporting informed migration decisions.
Through EAPEAN, participants were equally enlightened on ethical practices, with emphasis on the importance of verifying recruiters and employment opportunities before accepting jobs, both within Nigeria and abroad.
It was inspiring to see fellow speakers and partners engage the young people on a wide range of relevant topics, including artificial intelligence, future careers, youth leadership, governance, and personal development, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to thrive in an ever-changing world.
It was an impactful and fun-filled event. We commend Hon. Princess Olabisi Adebajo for creating such a meaningful platform to inspire and prepare the next generation for opportunities beyond borders
