FROM PROMISE MADE TO PROMISE KEPT: OKE OYINBO & ANGLICAN CHURCH ROAD, ISAGA-ORILE, GETS A NEW LOOK UNDER SENATOR YAYI

Critical Rural Infrastructure Completed and Delivered Under the Renewed Hope Infrastructure Agenda

Another promise made has translated into tangible development as the Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adéọlá (YAYI) continues to facilitate critical infrastructure projects for the benefit of communities across Ogun State.

The construction and rehabilitation of Oke Oyinbo and Anglican Church Road, Isaga-Orile, in Abeokuta North Local Government Area, has been completed and delivered under the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing (RAAM) infrastructure initiative.

The newly completed road provides an important link for residents, farmers, worshippers and other members of the Isaga-Orile community, improving access and strengthening connectivity within the area.

Through the video clip, Isaga-Orile indigenes at home and in the diaspora can now vividly see their streets, houses, church and community transformed with a new infrastructural outlook. It is indeed a moment for the sons and daughters of Isaga-Orile to appreciate and give kudos to their son, brother and kinsman, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adéọlá YAYI, for facilitating a project that directly touches their ancestral community.

The completed road is expected to improve accessibility, ease the movement of people and agricultural produce, strengthen rural connectivity and contribute to the socio-economic development of the benefiting communities.

This delivery further demonstrates the importance of grassroots-oriented infrastructure in opening up rural communities, improving living conditions and connecting people to wider economic opportunities.

FROM PROMISE TO PERFORMANCE.

FROM COMMITMENT TO COMPLETION.

FROM VISION TO IMPACT.

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adéọlá (YAYI) continues to champion infrastructure-driven development and the delivery of meaningful projects for the people of Ogun State under the Renewed Hope Infrastructure Agenda.

The appeal was made during a community engagement involving traditional rulers, elders, youth leaders, residents and representatives of 57 Community Development Associations (CDAs).

BAALE IDIORI: “GOD WILL USE YAYI TO BLESS US”

Speaking on behalf of the community, Alhaji Daud Adedeji Adegboyega, Baale of Idiori, Abeokuta North, narrated the history and importance of Idiori, explaining that the town serves as a headquarters and central point for about 25 surrounding villages.

He lamented the condition of the community despite its proximity to major roads and government facilities, saying the people have continued to experience infrastructural challenges.

The Baale expressed hope that God would use Senator YAYI to bring the much-needed development to the community.

Oba Ifarotimi Adifagbola Balogun, Oladerin of Idiori Land and Oba Isese of Ogun State, also appealed to Senator YAYI to come to the aid of the community.

According to him, the roads connecting Idiori to Isaga-Orile, Obada-Oko and Ilewo-Orile have become a major challenge for residents and farmers.

He explained that agricultural produce from approximately 40 surrounding villages passes through the area to major towns, but during the rainy season, poor road conditions make transportation difficult and lead to the wastage of farm produce.

The traditional ruler prayed for Senator YAYI's success in his political aspiration and expressed confidence that God would guide him to the position he seeks.

He also appealed directly to Senator YAYI to consider the road intervention as a matter of urgent importance to the people.

The gathering responded with another resounding:

“AMEN!”

ELDERS JOIN THE APPEAL

An elderly member of the community also appealed to Senator YAYI to assist with the roads, noting that the people had heard about his interventions and positive responses to requests from communities across Ogun State.

He concluded his appeal with prayers for the success and wellbeing of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola.

“15,000 VOTES ARE HERE” — RESIDENT

Another resident told the CAUCUS 7202 media team that the communities and surrounding villages collectively have an estimated 15,000 votes.

He said the people had heard about Senator YAYI's interventions in other communities and expressed confidence that their own community could also benefit from his attention.

YOUTH LEADERS SPEAK

Youth leaders from the community also came forward with a direct appeal to Senator YAYI to respond to their request for assistance.

They stressed that the road is not only important to Idiori but also serves as a vital connection to Isaga-Orile, Obada-Oko and Ilewo-Orile, making its rehabilitation significant to a wider population.

57 CDAs DECLARE SUPPORT

The engagement also witnessed the participation of representatives from 57 Community Development Associations (CDAs).

The groups appealed for Senator YAYI's intervention while expressing their willingness to support his political aspiration.

They declared that they had come to know and appreciate YAYI through the assistance and interventions attributed to him and pledged to reciprocate with their votes, energy and grassroots mobilisation.

They further pledged to protect their votes during the election and mobilise against any attempt to undermine their choice at the polls.

The gathering ended with enthusiastic chants:

“YAYI NI JỌ̀Ọ́!”

“YAYI NI JÀRẸ!”

The Idiori community's appeal highlights the growing demand for road infrastructure that can improve access, strengthen agricultural transportation and connect rural communities to major economic centres.

IDIORI SPEAKS.
THE PEOPLE ARE ASKING FOR DEVELOPMENT.

DAY 14: FPMY DEEPENS SENATOR YAYI’S GRASSROOTS IMPACT, TAKES MEDICAL OUTREACH TO OKE ELEFUN, IMEKO-AFON

Healthcare Intervention Reaches More Underserved Residents Across Ogun State in Support of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI)

Oke Elefun, Imeko-Afon LGA, Ogun State — August 28, 2026

The Day 14 edition of the ongoing Medical Outreach Programme organised by the Fulani Progressive Movement for YAYI (FPMY) was successfully held at Oke Elefun, Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State, marking another significant milestone in the movement’s sustained commitment to grassroots healthcare intervention.

The programme forms part of FPMY’s continuing outreach initiative aimed at taking basic healthcare services directly to communities, settlements, markets and other underserved areas across Ogun State, particularly locations where residents may encounter challenges accessing timely and affordable medical attention.

Since the commencement of the programme, the outreach has visited several communities and locations, attending to thousands of beneficiaries through services including medical consultations, routine health screening, blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, weight and temperature measurements, as well as the provision of prescribed medications where appropriate.

The programme also provides opportunities for health education and basic preventive-health guidance, encouraging residents to pay greater attention to their health and seek professional medical assistance whenever necessary.

HEALTHCARE BROUGHT DIRECTLY TO THE GRASSROOTS

At Oke Elefun, the Day 14 intervention continued this established approach by bringing healthcare professionals and support personnel directly into the community.

Rather than requiring residents to travel considerable distances to access basic medical services, members of the community were able to meet with healthcare personnel within their immediate environment, discuss health concerns and receive professional attention.

Beyond routine medical checks and medication, the intervention provides an important opportunity for early identification of health concerns, professional consultation and increased awareness

Beyond routine medical checks and medication, the intervention provides an important opportunity for early identification of health concerns, professional consultation and increased awareness of preventive healthcare practices.

The initiative further reinforces the principle that access to basic healthcare should not depend on whether an individual lives in an urban centre or in a rural and underserved community.

The presence of the outreach team was warmly received by residents of Oke Elefun, who expressed appreciation for the intervention and the opportunity to access basic healthcare services within their community.

A JOURNEY THAT CONTINUES TO EXPAND

The Day 14 outreach is another demonstration of the continuity and expanding scope of the FPMY healthcare initiative.

The programme was initially designed with a target of reaching 10,000 beneficiaries. However, in response to the scale of needs encountered across communities, the organisers expanded the target to 50,000 beneficiaries.

The expansion reflects FPMY’s stated determination to extend the intervention to more communities and ensure that a greater number of grassroots residents benefit from the programme.

From rural settlements and communities to busy commercial environments, the outreach continues to adopt a community-based approach to healthcare delivery, bringing people from different backgrounds together around the shared need for accessible healthcare.

HEALTHCARE AS A TOOL FOR GRASSROOTS ENGAGEMENT

FPMY is a political support movement associated with the political ambition of Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, CON, FCA (YAYI), particularly his 2027 gubernatorial aspiration in Ogun State.

While political mobilisation forms part of the organisation’s broader identity, the medical outreach places emphasis on humanitarian service, community engagement and practical intervention.

The programme provides an avenue for FPMY representatives and healthcare personnel to interact directly with residents, understand community needs and deliver immediate assistance where possible.

The Day 14 intervention at Oke Elefun therefore further highlights the importance of people-centred grassroots engagement, where community interaction is accompanied by tangible interventions capable of addressing immediate needs.

FPMY: TAKING HEALTHCARE TO THE PEOPLE

As the programme progresses, FPMY continues to extend its healthcare intervention across different parts of Ogun State, with the broader objective of reaching communities requiring greater attention and ensuring that grassroots residents are not left behind in access to basic healthcare services.

From one community to another, the message remains clear:

Healthcare should be brought closer to the people.

FPMY continues its grassroots journey — bringing healthcare closer to the people, engaging communities and responding to needs at the grassroots.
