It is with immense joy, gratitude, and a deep sense of responsibility that I warmly welcome everyone to this historic and impactful programme titled "Security Awareness in Our Schools, Ilorin." On behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, the Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), and the entire organizing committee, I extend a warm welcome to our distinguished guests, invited speakers, security agencies, school administrators, teachers, students, members of the media, and all stakeholders present today.
I wish to specially recognize and appreciate the presence of our Special Guest of Honour, the Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, whose unwavering support has continued to strengthen the vision and objectives of POCACOV in Kwara State. Your leadership, encouragement, and commitment to crime prevention through community engagement have made today's programme possible. Sir, we are indeed honoured by your presence.
