LNRBDA Management Honours Outstanding Staff School Teachers for Excellence in 2026 UTME Performance.
The Management of the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority (LNRBDA), under the leadership of the Managing Director, Engr. Olumoroti George Olushola, has recognised and rewarded outstanding teachers of the Authority's Staff Schools for their exceptional contributions to the remarkable performance recorded in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Presenting the awards, the Managing Director commended the teachers for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to academic excellence, noting that their efforts were instrumental in the impressive success achieved by the students.
Engr. Olumoroti encouraged the award recipients to sustain their outstanding performance and charged other teachers yet to be recognised to demonstrate a high sense of professionalism and commitment in the discharge of their academic responsibilities, particularly in nurturing and shaping future generations.
He further reiterated that the Management of the Authority remains committed to recognising and rewarding excellence across all departments, assuring staff members that similar gestures would be extended to deserving employees who distinguish themselves through exceptional service delivery.
The Managing Director also urged all staff to remain diligent, dedicated, and to avoid actions capable of hindering the progress and development of the Authority.
The award recipients include:
Mr. Kolade Olusayo Samson – Principal, LNRBDA Staff College;
Mrs. Abdulraheem Ajibola – Headmistress, LNRBDA Staff Primary School;
Mrs. Lawal Hussainat; and
Mr. Segun Akande.
In his remarks, the Head of Administration, Mallam Abubakar Adam, expressed appreciation to the Management for the laudable initiative, describing it as a commendable strategy for motivating staff and promoting excellence within the Authority.
Also present at the event were the Executive Director (Agricultural Services), Hon. Sadiq Abdullahi; Executive Director (Engineering Services), Engr. Babajamu Adeniran; and Executive Director (Planning, Investigation and Design), Engr. Alanamu Abolore.
