*PDP Congratulates State Legal Adviser, Bar Monsurat Peace and Asa Born Philanthropist, Alh Ridwan Dan Sokoto , on their Birthdays*

The Kwara State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is pleased to congratulate the party’s State Legal Adviser and former SA to KWSG on legal matters, Barrister Monsurat Omotosho Peace, and an Asa-born party chieftain and CEO, DanSokoto Motors, Alhaji Ridwan Dan Sokoto, as they both mark their birthdays today.

In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Olusegun Olusola Adewara, the party hailed the duo for their unwavering commitment, loyalty, and dedication to the ideals, vision, and growth of the PDP within their respective constituencies, describing their contributions as invaluable to the party’s cause in Kwara State.

The party particularly commends Barrister Monsurat Peace for bringing innovation, professionalism, and a refreshing positive aura to the PDP’s State Working Committee since her emergence as State Legal Adviser. Her depth of experience as a legal practitioner has been instrumental in strengthening internal party processes and contributing to the renewed confidence and positive attention the party continues to attract in recent times.

Similarly, the PDP applauds Alhaji Ridwan Abdulrasheed Dan Sokoto, Chief Executive Officer of Dan Sokoto Motors, for his consistent support and selfless commitment to the party, especially across Asa Local Government Area. His philanthropic spirit has continued to strengthen party cohesion at the grassroots.

The party specifically acknowledges his personal donation of a brand-new transformer to Aboto community, a gesture that restored electricity to a community that had been in darkness for several years, thereby improving the quality of life of the people.

The PDP family in Kwara State proudly identifies with these two distinguished personalities who have continued to serve the people and the party diligently, even without holding public office.

As they both celebrate these milestones, the party prays for long life, sound health, and greater financial prosperity, so they may continue to impact their communities, the PDP, and humanity at large.

Signed:

* : KWARA PDP SALUTES RESILIENCE OF KWARANS,*

*... Assures teachers and masses of better days ahead*

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kwara State Chapter, congratulates the people of Kwara for surviving the difficult year 2025 and welcomes them into the New Year 2026, despite the neglect, hardship, and anti-human policies of the AbdulRahman-led government, which have favoured a few in power at the expense of the majority.

In a congratulatory statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Olusegun Olusola Adewara, the party notes that all Kwarans who made it from 2019 to 2026 deserve certificates of of Endurance and survival

Notably, the last year 2025 exposed the deep disconnect between the government and the suffering masses, as Kwarans battled insecurity, economic hardship, and collapsing livelihoods with no compassion or support from those entrusted with leadership.

The PDP gives special commendation to Kwara teachers, who endured unprecedented hardship and humiliation, including their unjust exclusion from the 30 percent salary increment granted to other civil servants. The party describes the arrogance and insensitivity shown toward teachers as an affront to education and the future of the state.

As Kwarans look ahead, the PDP urges them not to lose hope. The suffering of today is temporary. 2027 presents a clear opportunity to reclaim Kwara and correct the wrong past, reject failed leadership, and return the state to a people-oriented government that prioritises welfare, justice, and shared prosperity.

A better Kwara is possible and together, it will be achieved.

Signed:
Olusegun Olusola Adewara
State Publicity Secretary

A country of over 200 million people—whose majority are energetic, creative, and forward-looking youths with enormous potential in the area of agriculture, mineral resources, oil, tourism, and a positive climate—is destined to be great.

That is why all Nigerians, young and old, should avoid any drift towards issues that will threaten the unity of the country.

The current challenges we face are temporary; we shall overcome them in no time.

Let us see 2026 as the year when we embrace discipline and tolerance for diverse viewpoints, avoid fault lines, and generally adopt a positive attitude.

There is no doubt that the best set of citizens any country can boast of are present in Nigeria - very determined, hardworking, focused, resilient, creative, and brilliant.

I see 2026 as a positive turning point for Nigeria.

May God protect all our security agents and grant them decisive victory over the agents of destruction.

Happy New Year!

Fundamentally, Professor Abubakar Suleiman could be described as an unproductive seed one that germinates but fails to yield a valuable harvest.

His primary tools seem to be a loose cannon of careless talk and a penchant for self-promotion, a dangerous combination capable of bringing down his own political house. His self-awarded nickname, which I term a “Counterfeit Amana”, perfectly captures the gap between his claims and his established conduct. You simply cannot credibly name yourself what you are not.

Ultimately, the Kwara political landscape is evolving, and the electorate is increasingly discerning. There may no longer be room for an opportunist whose strategy is built on shifting allegiances, smearing opponents, excessive self-praise and indiscriminately sleeping around. The coming period will reveal if he is truly a match for the rigorous demands of an elective office, or if the house of cards he has built through his words will finally collapse under the weight of its own contradictions.

PDP AJIKOBI CONSTITUENCY YOUTHS WING DEBUNK FALSE CLAIMS AGAINST DR. BUKOLA SARAKI.

The PDP AJIKOBI CONSTITUENCY youths wing debunk the false claims allegation against Dr Bukola Saraki.
The PDP stand before you today to address and firmly correct a misleading statement recently credited by Professor Abubakar Sulaiman on a radio program, in which he alleged that Dr. Bukola Saraki is working for the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the national level.
Let me state clearly and without ambiguity: this claim is false, unfounded, and misleading.
Dr. Bukola Saraki has remained a committed, loyal, and consistent leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), both at the national and state levels. His actions, political engagements, and public records speak louder than speculation or unfounded commentary.
Since returning fully to the PDP, Dr. Saraki has played a critical and visible role in strengthening the party, offering strategic guidance, reconciliation efforts, and leadership aimed at rebuilding the PDP into a strong, credible alternative for Nigerians. A man working against his party cannot, at the same time, be investing his time, experience, and political capital in uniting it.
It is important for the public to understand that statesmanship should not be mistaken for sabotage. Dr. Saraki’s ability to engage across political lines is a mark of maturity, experience, and national outlook—not betrayal. Politics should be about ideas, solutions, and national progress, not suspicion and internal division.
Dr. Bukola Saraki is a resourceful individual, tested by time and proven by service. As a former Governor, Senate President, and national political leader, he has demonstrated competence, courage, and commitment to democratic values. He is widely respected for standing firm on principles, even in the face of intense political pressure.
Most importantly, Dr. Saraki is a man of integrity. His political journey shows consistency, sacrifice, and loyalty to democratic ideals. Integrity is not defined by rumors or radio commentary, but by a lifetime of public service and transparent leadership.
We therefore call on political actors, opinion leaders, and commentators to exercise responsibility, avoid spreading unverified claims, and contribute positively to democratic discourse. The PDP is stronger when unity, truth, and mutual respect prevail.
In conclusion, Dr. Bukola Saraki is not working for the APC. He is working for the success, unity, and future of the Peoples Democratic Party, and ultimately, for the progress of Nigeria.
Thank you, and God bless.
God bless Nigeria

INGRATITUDE WITHOUT SHAME: PDP WOMEN OF ILORIN WEST CONDEMN PROF. ABUBAKAR SULAIMAN’S MORAL COLLAPSE.

A Statement by PDP Women, Ilorin West Local Government.

We, the women of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ilorin West Local Government, rise in one voice to express our deep disgust, righteous anger, and total condemnation of the reckless, dishonest, and ungrateful utterances credited to Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman against our leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON.

As women, mothers, wives, daughters, and custodians of moral values we find Prof. Sulaiman’s conduct not just politically offensive, but morally repugnant. A man who was lifted from obscurity by grace and goodwill has now chosen to repay kindness with venom, loyalty with betrayal, and truth with calculated falsehood. This is not politics; this is character failure.

In our culture, a man who eats from another’s table and later spits into the same plate is called an ingrate without honour. Prof. Sulaiman knows better than anyone that his rise was neither accidental nor self made. Yet, with stunning arrogance, he now attempts to rewrite history and malign the very hand that raised him. Only a mind poisoned by desperation would attempt such shameful revisionism.

As women, we are particularly pained by this betrayal because we teach our children values of gratitude, loyalty, and conscience. Prof. Sulaiman’s actions stand in direct opposition to these values. He has chosen ambition over honour, opportunism over truth, and personal survival over moral responsibility. Such a path may yield temporary rewards, but it ends in disgrace.

Let it be clearly stated: Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki does not need Prof. Sulaiman’s validation to stand tall. His legacy, sacrifices, and commitment to Kwara State and the PDP are written in bold letters across history. No amount of mudslinging by a desperate beneficiary turned attacker can erase that.

We, the women of Ilorin West, reject and utterly condemn the attempt to portray Dr. Bukoka Saraki as disloyal or duplicitous. This lie collapses under the weight of truth. The people of Kwara are not fools, and women especially see through deception faster than most. We know who stood firm in difficult times and who now seeks favour by selling his conscience.
Prof. Sulaiman should know this: positions expire, power fades, but dishonour follows a man forever. History will not remember him for titles held, but for the betrayal he chose when gratitude was demanded.

We advise him, even at this late hour, to reflect, repent, and retrace his steps. A man may lose office and recover, but once integrity is lost, even silence becomes an indictment.

The women of Ilorin West PDP stand solidly with Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki today, tomorrow, and always.

Enough of ingratitude. Enough of deceit. Enough of shameless ambition.

Signed:
Hajjia Azunmi Fatai.

Ilorin West Local Government.
