LET'S SUSTAIN PEACE IN IPETUMODU
The recent Social Media interview granted by some individuals who not only purported to be representing the two Ruling Houses in Ipetumodu, but also falsely claimed to be speaking on behalf of Ipetumodu Community is an unfortunate scenario..
These self-styled Community leaders also undeservedly put the burden of their self-imposed frustration on our noble and honorable Son, Rt. Hon. Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi, (Ireyode), who, coincidentally, is a Prince of the land. This is someone whom God has placed as the Deputy Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly.
Well meaning Sons and Daughters of Ipetumodu, both in Nigeria and the Diaspora), would have,as usual, ignored the self-induced Lamentations of these people who, in the pursuit of their purely narrow and selfish interests, for not minding to destroy the good name and reputation for which Ipetumodu and its people have been known.
However, to dissuade some gullible individuals from being drifted away from the truth, and to distant the well meaning citizens of Ipetumodu from this shenanigans,this rejoinder becomes necessary.
While any interested individuals in the Chieftaincy issues is free to do so, all the lies of those who have no political influence or electoral value in the Community and are, at best, representing themselves and their families should stop
Rt. Hon. Akinyode Oyewusi, is and will ever remain a valuable asset to Ipetumodu Community and the whole of Ife North.
Unlike some others who have nothing to contribute towards any aspect of our Community, the commendable and verifiable contributions of Ireyode to the socio- economic and infrastructural development of various Communities in Ife North can be seen by all except the political Bartholomews.
On behalf of the appreciative Sons and Daughters of Ipetumodu, we hereby pleads with Rt. Hon. Akinyode to disregard those who had, for no reason, chosen him to carry the Cross of their Misadventures. Forgive them, for
