Alhamdulillah

Sometimes in life, Allah grants us moments that remind us how blessed we truly are.

This Ramadan, Allah Almighty has given me the rare privilege to perform Umrah, a journey that many hearts long for.

I feel deeply grateful and humbled for this opportunity to visit the sacred land and seek closeness to my Creator.
It is not by power, wealth, or planning that one reaches this moment, but purely by the mercy and invitation of Allah.

As I embark on this spiritual journey, my prayer is that Allah accepts my supplications, forgives my shortcomings, and fills our lives with peace and guidance. May He also grant everyone who wishes to visit His holy house (ka'aba) the chance to do so one day.

Alhamdulillah for this great blessing. May Allah accept our acts of worship and make this Ramadan a source of mercy and transformation for us all.

Yesterday, I officially participated in my swearing-in ceremony as Special Adviser on Development Partners and Donor Organizations to the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas.

I accept this responsibility with deep humility, gratitude, and a strong sense of duty to the good people of Taraba State.

This appointment is not just a title it is a call to service, a call to build bridges, strengthen partnerships, and attract meaningful collaborations that will drive sustainable development across our state.

I am sincerely grateful to His Excellency, Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas, for the confidence reposed in me. Your leadership and vision for a progressive Taraba continue to inspire us to give our very best.

As I step into this role, my commitment is clear: to work tirelessly in fostering strategic relationships with development partners and donor organizations, ensuring transparency, accountability, and impactful results that directly benefit our people.

Alhamdulillah! Yesterday, surrounded by friends and family, I had the honor of accompanying our brother, Justice Yusuf Bashir, to the wedding Fatiha of his son, Auwal Yusuf Bashir in Song local government of Adamawa State.

The wedding was a joyous occasion, and I extend my gratitude to everyone who joined us in celebrating. I wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness in their married life.

Earlier today, I received a delegation of the Nkur Kona who came on courtesy call/congratulatory visit.

The delegation conveyed the best regard of the Royal father, Nkur Kona and his delight over my victory in the last election as the Executive Chairman. The delegation on behalf of the Royal father thanked His Excellency Dr Agbu Kefas for his overwhelming support for Jalingo Local Government Council.

His Excellency Dr Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State held a meeting with the 16 LG Chairmen at the EXCO Chamber of the Government House. The meeting featured discourse on security, education, entrepreneurship, IGR etc aimed at moving the state forward.

This join visit by the religious leaders demonstrates tolerance, unity and collaboration for a better Jalingo local government council

On this trip is the ALGON Vice-chairman Hon. Dauda Agbu Samaila, ALGON Secretary Hon. Alhaji Muhammad J. and my humble self the ALGON Chairman.
