The continuation of the Talent Search during the Southern Zonal Debate Championship in Taraba South was recorded as a huge success, attracting brilliant students and education stakeholders from across the zone. The event provided a platform for young learners to showcase their intellectual abilities, public speaking skills, and confidence in constructive argument on topical issues affecting society and education.

The championship featured active participation from various schools, with students demonstrating impressive debating techniques, critical thinking, and teamwork. The competition not only encouraged academic excellence but also helped to identify hidden talents among students who have the potential to grow into great leaders, scholars, and public speakers in the future.

Leading the high-powered delegation for the talent search exercise was Joel Joshua, whose leadership and commitment ensured the smooth coordination of the program. He was accompanied by notable education officers including Mr. Terence Timothy and Mr Nuru Bakari, who played key roles in supervising and guiding the exercise throughout the championship.

The delegation carefully observed the performances of the participants, assessed their debating skills, and encouraged them to remain dedicated to their academic pursuits. Teachers and school administrators also expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that such programs greatly motivate students to develop confidence, research abilities, and effective communication skills.

The successful continuation of the talent search at the Southern Zonal Debate Championship clearly reflects the commitment of the education authorities in Taraba State toward promoting quality education and discovering young talents. The exercise has further strengthened the culture of academic competition and excellence among schools in the region.

Overall, the event stands as a significant milestone in nurturing intellectual growth among students and preparing them to represent Taraba State in future academic and debating competitions at higher levels. The organizers also sincerely appreciate the effort of the Executive Chairperson of TSUBEB, Hon. Mrs Christiana Taninga Binga, whose wealth of experience and leadership contributed greatly to the success of the event, in line with the education reform agenda of the Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, particularly his initiative on free and compulsory education for all.
