*Bio data*
Hon. Felix Amos Gonung was born on 11th February, 1977 In Jannaret village, Kadung District, Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau state. A Nigerian and a Christian. He is married with a child.
*Educational Qualification*
He had his early education at Central Primary School Jannaret from 1984 to 1989 where he obtained his First School leaving Certificate. He proceeded to Government Secondary School Push*t where he obtained his West African Senior School Certificate in 1995.
He obtained National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in accounting & Finance from Plateau state polytechnic and Post graduate Diploma in Accounting & Msc. Finance &Accounting from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi. He obtained a certificate in Human Development from Harvard University USA. Hon. Felix Gonung is a Certified National Accountant (CNA).
*Working Experience*
Hon. Felix Gonung completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps in 2007 where he served as a teacher in Government College Nguru, Yobe state
Thereafter, he joined Goshen Estate Management in Lagos where he worked as Admin. & Finance Officer,
He worked with CiSHAN Global fund project on Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria R8 as Accounts and Admin Officer from 2010 to 2014. He joined
Helen Keller international in Bauchi State, where he worked as Finance and Admin. Officer. He also became the Consortium Finance Manager with International Rescue Committee in Maiduguri, where he worked as a finance officer from 2014 to 2016.
Until his involvement into politics he was with Mercy Corps International in Adamawa State as Sub-award & Cost share Finance Officer.
HON. FELIX GONUNG declared interest to represent Pankshin North Constituency in Plateau State House of Assembly under the platform of PDP in 2023 and emerged the party's flag bearer.
An energetic, proactive, intelligent, highly experienced, passionate, hardworking and result oriented young man who has demonstrated high level of competence and excelled in his chosen career is no doubt the best man for the job.
Having accomplished more in the area of humanitarian services, Hon. Felix Gonung offer himself for selfless service to the people of Pankshin North constituency where his wealth of knowledge and experience in national and international organizations will be utilized judiciously for the progress and development of Pankshin North Constituency.
