Subject: Urgent Appeal to build the just 2km Mangu Market Road
Your Excellency and Honorable Commissioner,
I Hon. Dawes Simon Micheal and 100 other concerned citizens of Mangu Ward 1, are writing to express our disappointment and concern over the abandoned 2km road project in Mangu market. Despite numerous appeals by elders , the project remains incomplete.
Mangu market is a significant revenue source for the local government, generating approximately ₦10 million monthly from levies and taxes. However, the poor road condition hampers trade, causing losses and discouraging investors.
We challenge the government to prioritize and complete this vital road, crucial for enhancing trade, commerce, and food security. It's unacceptable that a mere 2km road has been neglected for so long, impacting the local economy.
We urge prompt action to revive and complete the project, demonstrating the government's commitment to Mangu's development and welfare. We believed that your administration is a doing one that work along with the people, mangu ward one has the highest registered voters but we are left behind Walls when it comes to developments, we believed our appeal to you will not be a challenge, rather will be seen as done
Sincerely,
Hon. Dawes Simon Micheal
Concerned Citizens of Mangu Ward 1 and 100 others
