Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman Gar Receives E5 Able God Movement in Jos.

The Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman Gar today received the leadership of the E5 Able God Movement in his office in Jos, Plateau State.

The courtesy visit was to congratulate their principal on his reappointment as the Honourable Commissioner for the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Plateau State. The delegation expressed confidence in his leadership and commended his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and effective local governance.

Reaffirming its support, the E5 Able God Movement pledged its continued commitment to Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman Gar's vision for inclusive development, strengthened local governance and sustainable community progress across Plateau State.

Chief Ephraim Usman Gar Sworn In as Commissioner

Chief Ephraim Usman Gar has been sworn in as the Plateau State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs following his successful screening and confirmation by the Plateau State House of Assembly.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Government House Little Rayfield Jos where the Deputy Governor, Ngo Josephine Chundung Piyo administered the Oath of Office and Oath of Allegiance on behalf of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.

Governor Mutfwang charged the new commissioner to serve with integrity, diligence and commitment to the administration's "Time is Now" agenda, emphasizing accountable governance and effective service delivery.

In his remarks, Chief Ephraim Usman Gar thanked the Governor for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to serve the people of Plateau State with dedication, loyalty and a strong sense of responsibility.

Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman recently organized a parley with the Youth Campaign Directorate of the AbleGod Movement, support groups, media bloggers and loyal supporters.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Usman expressed his profound appreciation to his supporters, partners and campaign team for their unwavering solidarity, commitment, and support throughout the recently concluded primaries.

During the gathering, Chief Ephraim Usman formally endorsed Caleb Mutfwang for a second term in office, declaring him the sole candidate of the AbleGod Movement in Plateau State.

The event attracted several notable political figures and stakeholders, including former Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Gabriel Dewan; the Director-General of the campaign, Hon. Aminu Jonathan; former Deputy Speaker and Special Adviser to Governor Mutfwang, Rt. Hon. Yahaya Kanam; as well as many other prominent stakeholders from across Plateau State.

The meeting provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on the primaries, strengthen political collaboration, and reaffirm their commitment to the continued success of the Mutfwang administration and the advancement of Plateau State.

Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman continues his LGA to LGA engagement tour in Mangu LGA.
During the visit, he first paid a courtesy call to the palace of His Royal Highness, the Miskam Magavul where he interacted with the traditional rulers. Thereafter, he proceeded to meet with all the party executives of Mangu LGA and later engaged with various stakeholders, including the Mangu Legislative arm, support groups and party faithful.
The engagement forms part of his ongoing consultations and grassroots mobilization across the Plateau Central Senatorial Zone.

Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman Gar has officially commenced his LGA to LGA strategic engagement tour, meeting with traditional rulers, stakeholders, LGA party executives, support groups and party faithful across Plateau Central Senatorial Zone.

The tour began in Bokkos marking the first phase of a broader grassroots consultation and familiarization process aimed at strengthening ties with critical stakeholders across the zone.
During the engagement Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman Gar presented his scorecard, highlighting his contributions and unwavering commitment to the development of the zone.
He also clearly outlined why Plateau Central Senatorial Zone needs purposeful, visionary and people-centered representation in the Red Chamber.

He reaffirmed his readiness to provide effective leadership, quality representation and to champion policies and initiatives that will drive sustainable growth, unity and progress for the good people of Plateau Central.
