Today, Kaduna State marked the successful completion of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II NYSC Orientation Course at the NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp, Government College, Kaduna.

Representing His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, was the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Youth Development, Barr. Gloria Ibrahim, who delivered the Governor’s address and officially declared the orientation course closed.

The Governor commended the corps members for their discipline, patriotism and commitment, while encouraging them to embrace their host communities, serve with purpose, and make meaningful contributions to the development of Kaduna State.

As they proceed to their Places of Primary Assignment, we wish our corps members a fulfilling and impactful service year.

The Ministry of Youth Development hosted representatives of Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) from Kakuri, and a delegation from CVJM Fellbach, Germany on 19th August, 2026.

Discussions focused on exploring strategic partnership with the Ministry to advance youth development and community growth across Kaduna State

This engagement marks another progressive step toward driving sustainable youth empowerment and community development across the state.

The Ministry of Youth Development, supported by UNFPA is convening a two-day validation meeting on the Draft Kaduna State Youth Implementation Plan (2026–2030), from 13th- 14th August 2026.

The meeting brings together stakeholders, youth representatives, partners and CSOs to review and validate the draft.

The Honourable Commissioner, Barr. Gloria Ibrahim, commended the participants from MDAs, CSOs, partners and youth representatives for their commitment and participation in advancing the youth agenda.

In her remarks she noted that the plan will serve as a strategic framework addressing the needs and priorities of young people, and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to delivering meaningful impact.

She added that the exercise marks a key step toward a more coordinated and inclusive youth development approach in Kaduna State through stronger collaboration.

Together, we are building a future where young people are empowered to thrive and contribute to Kaduna State’s development.
