Stregnthening & Enhancing Health Care Delivery through Collaboration.

Today, on behalf of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State Sen. Uba Sani CON, being ably represented by the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Health Haj. Umma K Ahmed commissioned a World Class Cardiac Center, first of it kind at Northern Nigeria, which was constructed by the Muslim World League, at Tudun Wada Kaduna, Nigeria.

The health facility will provide advanced cardiovascular diagnosis treatment and care, which will substantially stem the tide of patients seeking medical treatment abroad. Meanwhile, this significant project will attend to patients of all Faiths.

Other government delegations present at the commissioning were Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs Dr Sule Shu'aibu SAN and Deputy Director General Rev.Fr Anthony Bruno Shawuya.

Muslim World League To Commission Cardiac Centre In Kaduna



Governor Uba Sani’s efforts to enhance heathcare delivery system has received a boost, as the Muslim World League commissions a state-of-the-art Cardiac Centre at Tudun Wada, a community in Kaduna South local government on Tuesday.

In a statement issued by the Director General of Kaduna State Interfaith Bureau, Barr. Tahir Umar Tahir on Saturday, the health facility will be commissioned by the Secretary General of the League, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa.

The statement added that the health facility will provide ‘’advanced cardiovascular diagnosis, treatment and care which will substantially stem the tide of patients seeking medical treatment abroad.’’

The Director General further said that the project is a collaboration with Kaduna State Government and the Muslim World League, adding that the health centre will attend to patients of all faiths.

The statement recalled the achievements of the Governor Uba Sani administration in the health sector since he assumed office, reiterating that it has renovated, equipped and upgraded all the 255 Primary Healthcare Centres to Level 2 status.

‘’Governor Uba Sani has expanded access to maternal, newborn, child and adolescent healthcare services, strengthened routine immunisation and disease surveillance.

‘’Within three years, he has enhanced community outreach programmes, improved emergency preparedness, supported the implementation of the Basic Health Care Provision Fund, and expanded health insurance coverage through the Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority,’’ Tahir added.

According to the statement, ‘’Kaduna State is also revatilising its the secondary healthcare. General Hospitals are undergoing infrastructure renewal. Modern medical equipment have been procured, improving diagnostic capacity.’’

‘’Governor Uba Sani has also prioritised the recruitment of healthcare professionals across various cadres, strengthened workforce planning, supported continuous professional development and invested in capacity building,’’ the statement maintained.

The Director General also said tha Kaduna State has ‘’sustained the implementation of the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) for medical doctors and the Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) for eligible healthcare professionals.’’

The Governor has also maintained regular funding of the Medical Residency Training Fund, reaffirming his government’s commitment to developing the next generation of specialist physicians whose expertise will continue to strengthen healthcare delivery in Kaduna State.

The statement pointed out that the commissioning of the Cardiac Centre will add another tertiary healthcare centre in Kaduna State, in addition to the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital which was commissioned by the president in June last year.

As preparation for commissioning of the Cardiac Centre which is constructed by the Muslim World League is taking place, today, under the leadership of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kaduna State Sen Uba Sani CON, this evening the Director General Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith Barr.Tahir Umar Tahir hosted a brief meeting with the delegation from Muslim World League Saudi Arabia, at his office Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna.

The aim of the meeting is to discuss the readiness of the upcoming International Conference being organised by the JIBWIS at Abuja from 10th to 14th August 2026 and the subsequent inauguration of the newly constructed Cardiac Center project located at Tudun Wada Kaduna.

As the political landscape continue to take in shape for 2027 Election, Yesterday, the Director General Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith Barr.Tahir Umar Tahir received audience from members of political group known as National Grassroot Mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Kaduna State Branch, led by State Coordinator Dr Ibrahim Zakari Ya'u, at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House Kaduna.

The purpose of their visit is to show their enormous solidarity and reaffirm their support to All Progressive Congress (APC) under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and the Executive Governor of Kaduna State Sen Uba Sani CON,. As they pronounce this journey a PAYBACK PERIOD, they came to present their voluntary activities under unified structure across the 23 Local Government.

Consequently, they came to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House to notify Governor Uba Sani that they will represent the good people of Kaduna State at National Prayer Session organised by their group at national level which scheduled on Thursday.

However, the DG appreciate their visit and told them that they are aware of all their dedicative work to the Party as they did before, he commends their effort and convey lots of gratitude on behalf of His Excellency.

He urged them to continue publicising the achievements of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani to the people for awareness, and mass support for victory of 2027 General Election.

As the inclusive administration of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State Sen. Uba Sani CON continues to pose a remarkable excellence. Today the Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith led by the Director General Barr.Tahir Umar Tahir received special visit from the Board of Trustees Sadaqatu Lil-Amwat Foundation led by the Chairman Alhaji Balarabe Idris Jigo, a pioneer and former Permanent Secretary Bureau for Religious Affairs Kaduna State.

In his response to the purpose of their visit, Balarabe Jigo commended Governor Uba Sani for the tremendous development on the area of peaceful religious practice and security, and pray for the Office of His Excellency and the Bureau to continue to triumph on future activities.

The Foundation which symbolised it meaning with 'Charity to the Deceased', their mission is to transform cemeteries into places of dignity and pride by encouraging the Muslim Ummah to contribute morally, physically, and financially to improve the state of burial sites.

Moreover, it's vision is to improve the condition of the burial sites accross Kaduna State, making them places of respect and pride for every Muslim. Among the key objectives, is to raise awareness about the importance of transforming cemeteries to meet it high standards.

Therefore, the Foundation seek this office to provide them an avenue to discuss with Islamic Clerics for the aim of sensitising Muslim Ummah about the imperative of given alms (Sadakat) to cemetery activities.

Jigo, further explained that 'we have shortage of cemeteries especially at the Southern part of the state, we received complains from different villages, they want us to purchase them Land for burial activities." Hence the Foundation want to explain more to Islamic clerics so as to play a greater role in calling people's attention.

Furthermore, The BOT also addresses the problem of inadequate cemetry workers due to poor payment , they only earn little amount given to us as Sadakat.

At the end, he called communities to concentrate on the affairs of cemetery because our communities abandon it until when someone died coming up for burial.

The DG however commend their efforts and expressed that not everyone has the opportunity to engage himself for this activity, the cemetery activities is very important, he assured them that the administration of Governor Uba Sani will work and collaborate together in some areas, such as the statistics of cemetery across the state and the workforce of the cemetery,

In conclusion, he thanks BOT Chairman of the legacy he built as a former Permanent Secretary Bureau for Religious Affairs.

Today, the Director General Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith Barr.Tahir Umar Tahir received delagation from members of Majlisu Madarisi Tahfizil Qur'anil Kareem (MTQ) led by Ameer Suleiman Aliyu Abdullahi, at his offce Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna.

The purpose of the visit is to foster mutual understanding and explore areas of possible collaboration, particularly in promoting peaceful coexistence within the communities.

Notably, MTQ is an Islamic educational organisation that was established in June 2026 at Kaduna North Local Government of Kaduna State. With the aim of promoting the memorization (Tahfiz), recitation, and proper understanding of the Noble Qur'an.

In essence, this organisation emerged from the collective efforts of Islamic Scholars, Our'anic Teachers and Community Leaders who recognised the need to standardised and strengthen Qur'anic memorization schools (Madaris Tahfiz) within the community and beyond.

However, this organisation is facing challenges with insufficient and financial constraints, inadequate learning facilities, and infrastructure. welfare challenge for students, among others.

In view thereof, the organisation appeals to the government for support and intervention in order to achieve it future objectives.

In his response the DG appreciate their visit and recommended their initiative as a welcome development, he disclossed to them that Governor Uba San's administration is planning for special ntervention to such initiatives where every schools will receive teaching materials and equipment that will enhance teaching standard.

In the end, he assured them that the government door is always open for any assistance and inquiries regarding iisues like this.

As peace a bridge-builder that provide a landscape for delelopmental progress of a defined Nation. Today, under the umbrella of peace framework of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kaduna State Sen Uba Sani, CON.

On behalf of His Excellency, the Director General Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith Barr.Tahir Umar Tahir received members of the Muslim Corpers Association of Nigeria (MCAN) Kaduna State Chapter at his offce Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna.

The aim of their visit is to formally introduce the leadership of the association and familiarisation to the activities of kaduna state government, as well as to explore a collaboration in promoting peaceful coexistence through interfaith understanding, youth development and community service within Kaduna State.

Furthermore, the association seeks more support from the government through funding and provision of equipment, which would enable them to carry out their programs effectively.

However, the DG uplaud their commitment and assure them that Governor Uba Sani's administration open door for youth empowerment and encourage them to be dedicative and explore more initiative which will shape their future career.

As peace a paramount element in Governor Uba Sani's framework and on his defined led administration, yesterday, the Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith under stewardship of amiable Director General Barr.Tahir Umar Tahir chaired a resolutionary meeting with the community leadership of Kudan Central Mosque at his office Sir Kashim Ibrahim House Kaduna.

The community leadership under the District Head of Kudan Tukuran Zazzau Alh. Mahmud Waziri includes the Sarkin Kudan Alh Bello Halidu, the Chairman Fityanul Islam Kudan LGA, and the Bureau Coordinator Kudan LGA

However, the meeting opened a discussion on ways of strengthening peaceful and harmonious understanding of the Islamic Matters in Kudan LGA,

Meanwhile, the DG appreciates the District Head of Kudan and other stakeholders and urges them to maintain a peaceful atmosphere and understanding amongst the community and the leadership.

He thanks the community leaders for honouring the invitation and stressed that Governor Uba Sani's style of leadership is designed with equity, fair hearing, and equality.

He his a man with an inclusivity agenda and a peace champion that guided with humility and reselience.
