CDOWA KADUNA STATE COMMAND UNVEILS NEW SPORTS WEARS

4th September, 2026.

The Civil Defence Officers Wives Association (CDOWA), kaduna state command today unveils its new Sports wears during its General meeting held at the commands conference hall.

Speaking at the meeting, the chairperson of the Association, Mrs Victoria Panam Musa Buba, emphasized the importance of regular exercise and healthy living among members. She encouraged members to make physical fitness a regular part of their daily lives.

Mrs Victoria Panam Musa Buba, also stressed the need to strengthen the association and make it more attractive to officers wives who are yet to join, noting that a stronger and more united association would promote greater welfare, friendship and mutual support among its members.

Following the unveiling, the chairperson and executives of the association paid a courtesy visit to the state Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba in his office, in recognition and appreciation of the fatherly support and encouragement he has continued to accord the association.

In his response, CC Panam Musa Buba, commended the leadership and members of CDOWA for their initiative and commitment towards promoting unity, healthy living and overall well being of its members. He urged them to remain united, support one another and continue to work together for the growth of the association.

The Commandant further assured the association of his continued support, while wishing them success in their activities.

NSCDC COMMANDANT PRESENTS CHEQUE TO THE FAMILY OF LATE ASCII IBRAHIM MOHAMMED.

4th September 2026.

The state Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), CC Panam Musa Buba today presented an Insurance cheque to the family of Late ASCII Ibrahim Mohammed.

The cheque being the deceased officers Insurance benefit, was presented to his son on behalf of the family. While presenting the cheque, the Commandant urged the family to use the financial assistance judiciously and for the pressing need of the family.

The Commandant expressed his condolences to the family and assured them of the corps continued support.

NSCDC COMMANDANT PRESENTS AGRO-TRAINING CERTIFICATE TO OFFICER.

3rd September 2026.

The state Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, CC Panam Musa Buba today presented certificate of course completion to SC Isah Abdullahi who successfully completed the Agro-Rangers Training course 018/334 at the NSCDC college of security management Oke-Amusan Abeokuta Ogun State.

The training which was successfully completed on 28th August 2026 is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and operational capacity of personnel of the corps engaged in the protection of Agricultural assets.

Presenting the certificate, the state Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, commended the officer for successfully completing the training and urged him to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the effective discharge of his duties.

The Commandant congratulated the officer and encouraged him to remain committed to the ideals and objectives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and it's mandate.

KAMPA PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO NSCDC KADUNA COMMAND

The Kaduna Master Printers Association (KAMPA) today paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command Headquarters, to strengthen ties and explore areas of mutual cooperation.

The delegation, led by the Chairman of KAMPA, Chief Timothy Ayo Ojo, was received by the State Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, alongside officers of the Command.

The visit was aimed at formally introducing the Association to the Command, fostering a cordial relationship and identifying areas of collaboration, particularly in security, community development and other matters of common interest.

Speaking during the engagement, the Commandant appreciated the Association for the visit and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to maintaining productive partnerships with relevant professional and community-based organisations in promoting peace, security and development across Kaduna State.

The visit ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing their readiness to sustain the relationship and explore practical areas of future collaboration.

NSCDC Kaduna Command Presents Certificates to Officers After Arms Unit Training

The Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has presented certificates to three officers who successfully participated in a five-day Retreat/Symposium for Arms Unit Commanders and Armourers organised by the Centre for Civil Defence Studies, Sauka, Abuja.

The training, held from 24th to 28th August 2026, focused on enhancing the professional capacity and operational effectiveness of personnel responsible for arms management and related duties.

The beneficiaries from the Kaduna State Command are Abubakar Ndagi, John Stephen Yaffa, and Idris Hashimu Jere.

Presenting the certificates today, the State Commandant, NSCDC Kaduna Command, commended the officers for their successful participation and urged them to utilise the knowledge and skills acquired in improving their duties and contributing to the effective discharge of the Corps’ mandate.

NSCDC COMMANDANT PRESENTS CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION OF INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME TO TWO GREENFIELD UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, CC Panam Musa Buba, today presented Certificates of Completion of Internship Programme to two students of the Department of International Relations, Greenfield University.

The two students, Ogunmola Faith Oluwamayowa and Iwmheson Afemosomi Favour, were presented with their certificates by the State Commandant following the successful completion of their mandatory three-month internship programme at the Command Headquarters, Kaduna.

During the internship, the students were exposed to the operations and activities of the Corps, providing them with practical knowledge and experience relevant to their field of study in International Relations.

The State Commandant commended the students for their commitment, discipline and diligence throughout the internship programme and wished them success in their academic pursuits and future professional endeavours.
The presentation was witnessed by officers and personnel of the Command.

NSCDC KADUNA COMMAND RECEIVES WOMEN COMMUNITY IN AFRICA, EXPLORES COLLABORATION ON WOMEN, GIRLS’ PROTECTION

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, has received a delegation from the Women Community in Africa (WCA), Kaduna State Chapter, on a courtesy visit to the Command.

The delegation, led by the Kaduna State Commissioner of WCA, Mrs. Comfort Ojo, formally introduced the organisation and highlighted its interventions in Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and response, women and girls’ empowerment, advocacy, community awareness and protection of vulnerable persons.

The delegation also presented the WCA Gender Clinic Initiative, aimed at providing gender awareness, support, referrals, capacity building and access to relevant services for women and girls.
Discussions focused on possible areas of collaboration between WCA and NSCDC, particularly community mobilisation, awareness creation, protection of vulnerable persons, referrals and strengthening safety mechanisms for women and girls.

Receiving the delegation, the Kaduna State Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, appreciated WCA for the visit and expressed the Command’s readiness to explore meaningful areas of partnership towards strengthening community safety and protecting vulnerable persons.

The visit further underscores the Command’s commitment to strategic collaboration with relevant stakeholders in promoting public safety, protection and the well-being of women and girls across Kaduna State.

NSCDC COMMANDANT ATTENDS SENIOR OFFICERS DECORATION AT THE HEADQUARTERS OF FRSC.

The state Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), kaduna state command, CC Panam Musa Buba on Wednesday 26th August 2026 attended the decoration ceremony of newly promoted officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) at the FRSC Sector Command kaduna.

The Commandant who was represented by the Head of Department, Training, DCC Idu Friday, joined other dignitaries, senior officers,, colleagues, family members to celebrate the newly decorated officers on their well-deserved promotion.

The ceremony provided an opportunity to recognize the commitment, dedication and professional contribution of the promoted officers to Road Safety, traffic management and the overall architecture of the country.

In his remarks, DCC Idu Friday, on behalf of the state Commandant, congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to see their elevation as both a reward for their past commitment and a call to greater responsibility.

The state Commandant further encouraged the officers to uphold the values of discipline, professionalism integrity and service to humanity, while continuing to work collaboratively with sister agencies towards ensuring peace, safety and security within kaduna state and Nigeria at large.

The NSCDC Kaduna State Command also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening inter-agency collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Corps and other relevant stakeholders in the interest of public safety and National security.

NSCDC DEPLOYS 1,500 PERSONNEL FOR PEACEFUL EID-EL MAULID CELEBRATION IN KADUNA

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, has deployed approximately 1,500 personnel across the State to ensure a peaceful, safe and incident-free celebration of the 2026 Eid-El Maulid scheduled for Tuesday, 25th August, 2026.

The deployment, approved by the State Commandant, CC Panam Musa Buba, will cover Murtala Square, Kaduna Metropolis, major junctions, strategic locations, places of worship and other identified venues across the State.

The State Commandant said the deployment is aimed at protecting lives and property, preventing crime, maintaining law and order and ensuring the overall safety of residents and visitors throughout the celebration.

Personnel have also been directed to intensify surveillance, intelligence gathering and highway patrols, particularly along major routes and other vulnerable locations. The Command will collaborate with sister security agencies and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective security coverage.

CC Panam Musa Buba assured members of the public of the Corps' readiness to provide adequate security throughout the celebration and urged residents to remain law-abiding, vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activity to the nearest security agency.

The operation will commence at 0700 hours on Tuesday, 25th August, 2026, under the overall command of the State Commandant, while DCC Abdullahi Karfi Umar, Head of Operations Department, will serve as the Ground Commander.

The Command wishes all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid-El Maulid celebration.

The Kaduna State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Panam Musa Buba on Thursday 20th August 2026 received members of Turunku Zangon-Aya Yamusa Kankara and Bus-Stop Kawo community Association led by the Sarki Kawo accompanied by the mai Unguwas and leaders of Zangon Aya Road on a courtesy visit.

The visit seeks to formally introduce the community leadership to the Commandant, strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the traditional institution, community leadership and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

CC Panam Musa Buba in his response appreciated the delegation for the visit and also reaffirm the Commands commitment towards protecting lives and property, securing Critical National Assets and Infrastructure.

The visit also highlights and provided the opportunity for the delegation to discuss matters of mutual interest, particularly community security, protection of lives and property and prevention of criminal activities, peaceful coexistence and collective responsibility of the community leaders and security agencies.
