The arrival of another truckloads of free fertilizer at the Kafanchan Redemption Centre is more than just another successful delivery, but it signifies another promise kept to the farmers of Jema'a and Kaduna State.

What makes Kaduna State's fertilizer distribution commendable is that beneficiaries receive the fertilizer free of charge. This year's distribution, once again, comes at no cost to our farmers, easing the burden of cultivation and reaffirming the government's commitment to boosting agricultural productivity and food security.

We remain grateful to His Excellency for prioritising the welfare of our farmers through the SUSTAIN Agenda and for ensuring that the dividends of good governance continue to reach the grassroots.

I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Samuel Ibrahim, fondly known as Oganto, who departed this life after an illness.

Oganto was a friendly, easy-going, and compassionate man whose warmth and simplicity endeared him to many. He was a committed politician and above all a proud son of Fantsuam Chiefdom.

His passing is a great loss to his family, friends, party members, Fantsuam Chiedom and the entire Jema'a community. He will be remembered for his mature disposition, his love for people, and the positive relationships he built throughout his lifetime.

On behalf of the good people of Jema'a Local Government and my humble self, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, the people of Famtsuam Chiefdom, friends, political associates, and everyone grieving this painful loss. I pray that God grants them the strength to bear this irreparable loss and grants Oganto eternal rest.

Today, I join family, friends, and countless well-wishers in celebrating the birthday of my dear brother and friend, Akila Auta.

Akila is a public servant of exceptional pedigree whose commitment to service goes far beyond the call of duty. He has consistently demonstrated an uncommon passion for the welfare of our people, especially the less privileged, and has remained steadfast in championing initiatives that uplift communities.

Through the Akila Initiative, he has continued to touch lives, support the vulnerable, and promote projects that bring lasting benefits to our communities. His generosity, compassion, and dedication to humanity have earned him the respect and admiration of many.

On this special day, I celebrate not only a worthy public servant but also a dependable friend and brother whose heart beats for the progress and well-being of our people.

Jema'a Council Chair Orders Assessment of NHFSS Gidan Waya Unit.

As part of his administration's unwavering commitment to security, the Executive Chairman of Jema'a Local Government Area, Hon. Peter Tanko Dogara, directed the Special Adviser on Security Matters, Hon. Abeku Audu, and the Special Adviser on Community Development, Hon. Samason Yusuf (Shoki), to inspect and assess the activities of the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS), Gidan Waya Unit.

The assessment followed an earlier visit by officials of the NHFSS to the Chairman, during which they presented requests for support to enhance their operations. Pursuant to that, the Chairman ordered an on-the-spot assessment yesterday to enable the Council make informed decisions on the interventions sought.

The delegation was received by the Unit Commandant, Mr. Yusuf Dogo, the Second-in-Command, Mr. Dauda Akut, and other senior officers, who took them round the facility and briefed them on the Unit's activities and operational needs.

The visit reflects Hon. Peter Tanko Dogara's commitment to security, a key pillar of his Five-Point Agenda, and his determination to strengthen collaboration with security agencies in safeguarding lives and property across Jema'a Local Government Area.

It will be recalled that the Gidan Waya Unit of the NHFSS came under a deadly attack earlier this year, claiming the lives of some of its personnel. Upon receiving the report, the Chairman immediately deployed securty personnel and also visited the scene in solidarity and to assess the situation firsthand. The latest assessment is a continuation of his administration's commitment to supporting security agencies in the discharge of their responsibilities.

I joined my colleagues at the July 2026 Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) Plenary Session, chaired by the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe. Another important personality at the meeting was the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos.
