KANO DESERVES ACCOUNTABILITY
Good governance is measured by outcomes, not promises.
Every naira allocated in the state budget belongs to the people of Kano. Citizens are entitled to ask:
- Were the projects approved in the budget fully implemented?
- Were schools, hospitals, roads, and water infrastructure delivered as scheduled?
- Were public funds managed and utilized transparently?
These are not political accusations; they are legitimate accountability questions that any democratic government must be prepared to address.
The Kano State Government publishes budget implementation reports and other public financial documents. These reports allow citizens to compare planned expenditures with actual implementation. Reviewing these records is an important tool for assessing government performance.
The ADC is committed to a Kano that upholds:
- Transparent and accountable governance
- Efficient and responsible use of public resources
- Timely delivery of public infrastructure projects
- Expanded opportunities for young people and businesses
- A government that embraces public scrutiny
Malam Ibrahim Khalil is the ADC’s candidate presenting this alternative vision for Kano. Ultimately, it is for the people of Kano to assess the performance of the current administration alongside the proposals of all candidates and determine the path forward.
