Kabiru Tanimu Turaki Commiserate with the families of victims in zamfara, Benue, sokoto, Kaduna as well as Nigerians for the killings of innocent soul across the country.

"It is both regrettable and condemnable that while Nigerians have had to contend with the scorch of poverty, inflation, unemployment and the hike in oil prices, the government has failed in its primary responsibility of securing lives and property of its citizenry.

I am deeply saddened by the unfortunate, barbaric, and unlawful killings of innocent lives in some parts of Kaduna, Zamfara and the North-East over the past few days.

Respect for the sanctity of life is sacrosanct. Wherefore, government and it's security apparatus fail to protect the lives of its people, it is as guilty as the perpetrators of the murder. This is a shame!

I therefore, commiserate with the families of the victims and all Nigerians as well as pray for the quick recovery of the injured.

It is also my sincere prayers that our leaders will act right and peace be returned to Nigeria again.

God bless Nigeria!

Kabiru Tanimu Turaki commiserate with people of Jos, Benue, Kaduna, and Northeast as a whole over the unlawful killings of innocent people in their communities.

He said:

I am deeply saddened by the unfortunate, barbaric, and unlawful killings of innocent lives in some parts of Jos, Kaduna, Benue, Katsina and the North-East over the past few days.

APC will be remembered for poverty, nepotism, harassment – Turaki

Presidential aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, said the Buhari led All Progressives Congress (APC) government would be remembered for poverty and nepotism.

The Former Minister said this at an interaction with State Chairmen of the PDP in Abuja on Saturday.

“What is the legacy of APC other than entrenching despotism, nepotism, intimidation, harassment of opposition, insecurity and inflicting poverty on the people?” he asked.

Lamenting that the APC has failed to resolve the Boko Haram crisis, Turaki said the federal government abandoned the “standard practice” which the PDP government under President Goodluck Jonathan adopted.

Promising to uphold the Rule of Law, Turaki vowed that he would order implementation of all pending court orders if he became president.

Noting that social welfare programmes such as YouWin, SURE-P and similar empowerment schemes established by the PDP had been wiped off by the APC government, the aspirant said employment generation will be high on his agenda.

He recalled the legacy of the PDP in ensuring an uninterrupted 21 years of democracy, “including the seamless transition to an opposition party which President Jonathan facilitated”.


Speaking, a member of the PDP Board of Trustees and former Chief of Army Staff, General Ishaya Bamaiyi, counseled members of the party to be brave and be focused “to overcome the intimidation and harassment by APC”.

Today is the 1st day of the Islamic Month of Shawal. This certifies the end of the holy Month of Ramadan , and with it , the mandatory 29 (or 30) days of fasting , which is supposed to teach (or remind) Muslims globally certain lessons - lessons in and of self restraint, perseverance , piety, discipline, pity, forgiveness, remorse, physiological and psychological rejuvenation, tolerance , respect for the personality and views of other people, transparency and honesty in business, inward reflection and self assessment and reassessment. It is also supposed to be a month that will bring us closer to our Creator in words and deeds .

I therefore pray , most fervently , that the lessons so learnt will not only endear us to our God , but to our fellow countrymen and women. We must begin to show more restraint and tolerance in the way and manner we deal and relate with each other at all times.
We must recognize and appreciate our plurality and complexities as sources of strength as opposed to weakness and must respect other people's views and choices in the same way and manner we want ours to be respected .

I also pray that God in His infinite mercy will give us the courage and strength to treat others in the way and manner we expect to be treated , and endow us with everlasting wisdom to once again appreciate that our great country is bigger than all of us , and no sacrifice will be too much for us to make in deepening our bond and friendship in this regard.

Barr. Kabiru Tanimu Turaki On Democracy Day 👇👇👇

On the occasion of the celebration of this year's Democracy day, I want to congratulate all Nigerians for witnessing yet another great day in the history of our country. What we are celebrating today is a harvest of fruits, the tree of which was planted by our leaders like Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sarduna of Sokoto, the great sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and their contemporaries ; nurtured by great patriots like Alhaji Shehu Shagari, Malam Aminu Kano, K O Mbadiwe, Alhaji Waziri Ibrahim, Chief Solomon Daushep Lar, Chief Joseph Tarka , Chief Aper Aku, Papa Ajasin, Chief Sam Mbakwe and their peers, and watered by the blood of people like Chief MKO Abiola, and other martyrs of democracy. This tree was again looked after by our leaders like Presidents Obasanjo , Yaradua and Jonathan , who maintained that his ambition was not worth the blood of any Nigerian both in words and deeds. It's therefore very important that we do not forget the great sacrifices that have been made by these leaders in ensuring that we have a strong pedestal that seeks to protect not only our rights and freedoms, but even our norms and democratic values and cultures. We must therefore stand up and ensure that our democracy is not endangered or put at great risk as a result of the action or in action of any person or group of persons that have come to reap where they have not sowed. Nigeria can, and indeed will be great again with an honest, selfless, listening, committed and focussed leadership that will treat us fairly and equally, irrespective of our beliefs, creed, and/or the circumstances of our birth. *PROFILE: EARLY LIFE*

THE NEW FACE OF HOPE was born in the Nassarawa area of Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State. Like other children of his age and in accordance with the great custom of the wonderful people of Gwandu Emirate, he was sent to the Quranic School, a step which was to later mould his character and prepare him for the numerous challenges of life.

THE NEW FACE OF HOPE further enrolled into the then Nassarawa Primary School, Birnin Kebbi.where he exhibited clear signs of a gifted child right from his days in Primary School by distinctively excelling in his academic work.

He was very hardworking, obedient, brilliant and more than all these, he was very respectful. As a testimony of the commendable and sterling qualities of the young man, he was appointed the Deputy Head Boy and Time Keeper of the School.

THE NEW FACE OF HOPE proceeded to the famous prestigious Barewa College, Zaria. Even though the School was full of brilliant students, he proved an exceptional person as he stood out in whatever he did. At Barewa College, Zaria, he was the Deputy House Captain, Suleiman Barau House and President Young Farmers Club of the School.

In furtherance of his education, THE NEW FACE OF HOPE went to the then College of Arts and Science, Sokoto for his I.J.M.B. Again, it was another success story for THE NEW FACE OF HOPE as he passed all his papers brilliantly. This earned him admission into one of Nigeria’s most respected Universities, the University of Jos, to read Law. He graduated with honours and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos where he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1986. The man KTT is a leader who stands firm on what he believes in and speaking out when something isn’t right.
