Kano State,

LETTER OF CONDOLENCE

On behalf of the entire leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Council (JCC) Kano, I write to extend our heartfelt condolences on the demise of a father and elder statesman, Alh. Aminu Alhassan Dantata, a revered philanthropist, trailblazing business mogul, and beacon of hope to many.

His passing is a monumental loss, not only to his family but also to the larger Nigerian society, especially the youth and student community, many of whom benefited directly or indirectly from his generosity, mentorship, and life of purpose. His legacy in entrepreneurship, job creation, and unwavering support for educational causes will forever be remembered with pride and gratitude.

Alhaji Dantata was a shining example of what it means to live a life dedicated to the service of humanity. His charitable works have left indelible marks in communities across the nation.

As students, we mourn a man who believed in the power of education and invested in building futures. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit, values, and vision will continue to inspire generations to come.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of a great father Alhaji Abbas Sanusi, the esteemed Galadiman Kano. On behalf of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Council (JCC) Kano Axis, I extend our heartfelt condolences to you on this profound loss.

Alhaji Abbas Sanusi's demise is a great loss, not only to his family and the emirate, but also to the entire people of Kano State. His six decades of dedicated service to the Kano Emirate were characterized by wisdom, tradition, and leadership, inspiring many with his commitment to upholding the emirate's values and heritage.

May Allah grant him Aljannatul Firdaus. May He also grant his family, the Emirate Council, and the Kano community the strength to bear this irreparable loss.

As we mark the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, reflection, and spiritual rejuvenation, I wish to extend warmest greetings to you all on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.

May the blessings of Allah (SWT) be upon us all as we celebrate this joyous occasion. May the lessons of Ramadan continue to guide us in our daily lives, and may we remain steadfast on the path of righteousness.

I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our fasting, prayers, and charity, and rewards us abundantly.

NANS JCC COMMENDS RENAMING OF FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, KANO

As the Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Joint Campus Council (JCC), I am delighted to commend the present administration of President Ahmad Bola Tunibu, on the renaming of the Federal University of Education, Kano, after the late Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Sule Dan Masanin Kano.

This move is a testament to the government's commitment to honoring the legacy of notable Nigerians who have made significant contributions to the country's development. Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Sule was a renowned statesman, diplomat, and educationist who dedicated his life to serving Nigeria. His legacy continues to inspire generations, and renaming the university after him is a fitting tribute to his memory.

We hope that this gesture will serve as a motivation to students and staff of the university to strive for excellence, just as Ambassador Sule did throughout his illustrious career. This renaming is a positive step towards recognizing and celebrating the achievements of Nigerian heroes.

We applaud the government's efforts in promoting education and honoring the legacy of notable Nigerians. We look forward to seeing more initiatives that promote academic excellence and national pride.
