A call to action for the Arewa people! "Arewa"

In this trying period, we most desire to come together void of tribal and Religious sentiment, in order to recognize our collective strength, to unite and acknowledge the power of the Arewa as a civilize community.

We must come together, join our hands, to address those challenges bedeviling us and confront and overcome the social, economic, and political issues facing our Great region.

The call and desire to embrace each other, tolerate each other, forgive each other, for peaceful coexistence, sustainability, progress and development to once again flourish in this great region...

To strive for improvement in our education system, healthcare development, infrastructure, promote cultural heritage that we are best known with.

It's about time to shame those bad messengers, shun their devilish ideology and celebrate and preserve our rich cultural traditions of our Arewa.

To yarn and demand for credible and good governance. Hold leaders accountable for effective representation and responsible leadership.

To foster unity and cooperation, work together to achieve common goals and aspirations. Let's make the greatness of our falling hero's shine again.

We must empower our youth by Investing in our potential and future.

Our collective action and determination can drive positive change and a brighter future for the Arewa!

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT: NIGERIA POLICE FORCE HOSTS YOUTH SUMMIT TO CELEBRATE UN INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY

As IGP Harps on All Inclusivity for Effective Policing

Recognising the vital role of young people in shaping our nation's future and protecting development, the Nigeria Police Force has put together the Nigeria Police Youth Summit, to commemorate the 2024 International Youths Day, scheduled to hold on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the Nigeria Police Resource Center, Jabi, Abuja.

The summit themed "Enhancing Nigerian Youth Value for National Security Intelligence", is set to feature discussions on youth empowerment, national security, and intelligence. Interactive sessions on crime prevention, conflict resolution, social media and community engagement. The summit will also showcase the machineries set in motion to boost the innovative solutions to Nigeria's multidimensional issues by our youths.

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD., NPM., reechoes the importance of the event to commemorate the UN International Youth Day and foster National Security Intelligence through Youth Engagement and Development. He further reiterates the commitment of the Force under his watch, to incorporate all sectors and inclusivity for effective policing in Nigeria.

In furtherance of the vision of the Inspector-General of Police for a safe and more secure country, this summit seeks to enhance the collaboration between Nigerian youths and the Nigeria Police Force, Increasing youth participation in national security initiatives and development.
